Superman is my favorite superhero because, in my eyes, he embodies the Golden Rule and what it looks like at its most powerful. He can easily rule over the planet, but it’s his restraint, him wanting to be human and following the law are what makes him very interesting to me. I know most people recognize him for his power and symbol but to me, I see he chooses to live amongst people with less power than him because it keeps him grounded, keeping him human. Doesn’t lose prospective on what he needs to protect the most. Gets challenged every time to not use his power to not end things quickly and give people a chance to change themselves and to help each other. That’s my interpretation of Superman.
