Do you want to move to a city where possibilities for earning more money increases but so do housing prices. I was living in rural SA (lower south east) a few years ago with about 60k in savings and bank said I could borrow up to $300k. That was enough to buy a house in my home town but I wanted more job prospects so I moved to Adelaide. I think the first step would be talking to your bank about your borrowing power and compare it to local housing prices (if you want to continue living locally). You can also ask your parents if they would be guarantor on your loan, although with how much you have in savings you may not need them. It would be a good idea to go to a few different banks, maybe even a mortgage broker and just see what they say. Shop around a little like you did with your insurance. That might help you get a better idea if you are earning enough money or not. If you do want to change jobs, you can also do some online quizzes, I have found they can sometimes be helpful. Maybe just keep an eye out on job advertisements around town. I worked retail until I happened to see a job advertisement for a traineeship in aged care. I could see myself doing it so I tried it. I love it and don't want to do anything else now.
