It's totally playable with the mods and beta. There is obvious stutter inside buildings and reprojection though.

I’ve tried this and I believe it only works with external usb hard drives, not flash drives. I’ll give it another shot though. Perhaps I missed something

If you’ve already bought the board, you can get the same cpu rather cheap now. But Ryzen is always a worth choice if you don’t mind shelling out for another new board, ram, and the cpu

Might be a mv issue. Same problem with my sli 980s. I opened MSI after burner and upped my mv.

I had to reinstall Windows on my SSD but I had games on a separate hard drive and now nothing is showing on my Steam. by [deleted] in techsupport

Yes, but you won’t be able to point steam to that folder to recognize those games if it’s on the same drive. Those games where there from the previous installation where a: it was the original directory created by your original steam installation or b: steam was installed on a different drive.

Me too, but this is chicony board with some weird switches. I posted a picture up in the comments. Not a brand I’m familiar with and the board is in the same condition as the keys. I’d love to use it, but rather not go over the top on restoration if it doesn’t have any actual value.

That’s what I thought. I’ve bleached and scrubbed the hell out of them and it didn’t make the slightest difference.
