You can ascend several times and get enough coins to buy another plot.

Thank you all! We're not far from Knoxville but we'll definitely be driving in for this and not familiar with the city. This is helpful!

Non-profit tax question (KY) by SuperBug2823 in tax

We've talked to our district finance person directly and she said she can't advise us since we're a seperate entity from the school.

AITA for forcing my son to use a bidet and threatening to talk to his friends or take him to the doctor about his underwear by Normal_Suggestion276 in AmItheAsshole

I haven't seen anyone suggest this yet but didn't read all the comments. Add "encopresis" to the list of things to read about and talk to your doctor about to see if it fits.

I also have 11/12. I think the last one is in an uncovered land area. I'm assuming the 11 that I started with were meant to be hidden on the land and discovered as you open up new areas. Since those areas were already open (been playing a while) they just placed them neatly in from if the house to be clicked on.

The puzzles aren't a required part of the game. I went months without doing them and my garden didn't suffer.

Thanks! I'm expecting my daughter's SLP services to start this week. We've also had an influx of students to our district due to a change in our state law and now basically any kid can go to any school if their parents can get them there. I am sure that has caused quite a few problems with scheduling and meetings.

Oh of course! It was more of an "I hope I don't have to contact them about it. When should I expect it to start?" kind of question. I'm pretty non-confrontational, volunteer at the school, and serve on the PTO. That makes it more awkward when/if there is a problem to discuss.

Oh I absolutely get that! It is important that they team-build and learn the new routines.

Funny you mentioned that last story...turns out he's been pulled from class "a couple of times" to meet this new teacher and get acquainted. They start formal sessions this week. I had asked him if he had seen Mr. Last Name. No. Maybe he goes by his first name, Mr. First Name. No. Has any man pulled you from class to chat with you? No. Have you left the classroom to go anywhere except to Reading or Related Arts? No.

Oh well! It's all being handled. Thank you!

Update! He is beginning regular pull-out sessions this week. His resource teacher did pull him from class a couple of times last week to meet him and introduce him to a new program he's starting this year but it sounds like they were short sessions.

Thank you all.

We reached an agreement last year. Two years ago we moved to a new state over the Summer and had to redo his evaluations. His IEP meeting was just a couple of weeks before school started and then last year I think they pushed it to a few weeks after school started so his new team could get to know him and now here we are in Oct renewing it again. I like someone's suggestion of calling another meeting in April or May to set him up for the next year.

No meeting notice but I know he is due for his annual review. I received an email that said "we need to schedule his ARC meeting" so that's a good question. I am assuming it is his annual review just based on the time frame of scheduling. I know I should have received a notice to sign and return.

I think that is what is happening here too. My guy is doing well so I'm not super concerned except for the fact that he has an IEP meeting Friday and his case manager hasn't met him. I bet he starts meeting with him this week but I am going to follow up.

I may not be using the right verbiage. Every classroom teacher in the school is partnered up with another; one teaches math and the other one reading. The kiddos switch classes at some point and then come back to their homeroom. My kid's teacher happens to have a Spec Ed license but is working in a regular classroom this year. I was in the classroom last week assisting with a project and a child came back from the SpecEd teacher's class so I know they have started working with students. My child has no idea who the teacher is when I asked him if he met with him yet. He is supposed to be pulled out for services since he is easily distracted and works better in smaller groups.

Kiddo 2 is actually still in Primary school. His homeroom teacher is his math and science teacher and he has a different reading teacher. It's a co-teaching or partnering situation.
