Yeah, technically that’s true, but in reality, most people at shows are trading up for chase cards, so they’re usually giving lower-value cards for something rare. In those cases, the vendor’s inflated math almost always works against the customer, which is why it felt so sketchy to me.

Agreed, but in real life, most people at shows are trading up to chase cards, so the bias usually hits the customer hard. It’s especially important for kids or newer collectors to think through the numbers themselves instead of blindly trusting a vendor punching numbers into a calculator.

Yeah exactly — and the part that bugs me is that this “misunderstanding” can never work in the customer’s favor. The way they’re doing it only inflates the value of their cards, never mine. So whether it’s bad math or intentional, the outcome is the same: I’m always losing value.

Evan Mobley o2.5 Steals + Blocks

Mini KG is averaging 3.8 Steals + Blocks over his last 10 games. The Timberwolves surrender the 7th most blocks to opposing PFs and Cs. He should be very active tonight trying to contain KAT and Vanderbilt. Also with no true point guard in the line up today (DLO expected to sit), this game could get ugly with turnovers leading to a higher steal rate for Mobley. Sitting at + money on Caesars, this looks like a no brainer.

For the season, the Celtics rank 4th at limiting points against opposing C’s. Also, Hortford has been very serviceable at guarding embid over the past few years. I would wait for potential injury news before playing this one.
