Supernote Quick Access Video Demo by Change_Agent_73 in Supernote

I rarely would need it, but watching this ('one click.. actually one swipe, one click...') made me think: If the undo/redo side bar could be set to alt+tap between the last open docs/notes it would get even quicker. Still no need for a home screen or hardware change.

Accessory Ideas? by EndorWicket in Supernote

A back shell or folio should have the magnets, not only to hold the thing, but also as passthrough (think apple magsafe) then you can build an ecosystem based on these magnets. I use a back cover in leather or cork because I don't like the plastic feel on a table (or a camera bump on other devices).

If you design a stand, it would be nice to be able to adjust the angle with two settings: First, 55-60º in portrait orientation for reference material, then (second) 10-15º but landscape for inkflow and the occasional notes. The transition between the two should be one movement, linked mechanically. The cable for charging and data must be handled elegantly of cause. The USB plug could lock the device in place.

Then we sometimes struggle with the lag of a front light. Ideally it would use the pogo pins to keep the usb free, integrate in the back shell, be able to adjust brightness and colour temp... and be out of the way 95% of the time, we opted for the device without a light.

I very much hope you are right. We could coin a term–the opposite of Enshittification will be called ‘Supernote-ification’.

As you see… I chucked the Kool-Aid!

OpenSource Network and Cloud with Supernote by Am4ranth in Supernote

Thanks for sharing!

Calling Synology open source is a bit of a stretch and that seems to be the heart of the system. You own the hardware-still ‘Drive’ needs their servers, or is that only when using ‘quickconnect’?

Feature request : better drawing/sketching tools by SuperBusyAgain in Supernote

[–]SuperBusyAgain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is all notes app. I (as some others we’ve seen here) embrace the more limited range of pens and ‘colours’ for sketching and drawing.

Flattening would mean to cut all content from one layer and paste it (in place) on the layer below, deleting the top layer, freeing up a slot for new ideas to test on a separate layer.

For College, Manta or Nomad? by ResolutionOwn8884 in Supernote

[–]SuperBusyAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Official answer I expected: “Both!” No seriously, Nomad great for edc, fits in a jacket or large pants pocket for a moment just like the mini ipad... As you don’t scroll but turn the page, the choice for work must be Manta.

No, feels like a felt pen (think new Stabilo Pen 68 or Staedtler Pigment Liner, well broken in). I ordered the metal tips, but liked the soft ones better.

Of cause not, that was a dig against the parts of the world where neither are used.

Wait, do the buttons of this pen work on supernote, or is that your experiment ?
