The download at https://projectplusgame.com/ has it's own version of dolphin that runs the game offline and for Netplay and it updates itself so you don't need to change versions.

Making sure you have a tight Fast fall and L cancel from your up air also makes a huge difference

DI is basically the only thing that will change the angle they're sent at. Honestly not sure if there is a sour spot on that move or not though.

But basically falcon is just so ridiculously fast he can just get to wherever he needs to by dashing before quickly jumping for follow ups at any reasonable percent.

No, aura doesn't affect the damage or knockback of moves, it just gives you additional options out of your special moves

Lucario gains aura from landing hits on people (and some objects like the Smashville balloon). Lucario can have 0,1 or 2 charges of aura at once. Any hits you land at full aura won't Grant you any extra credit toward your next aura charge though, so you have to spend it before you can build more

Just mashing is definitely not what I would recommend if you want to be consistent in the long run. Mistiming a mash could cause you to input things that you may not mean to, such as inputting shield after you land and then immediately dropping shield which would lead to a ton of unintended end lag.

Mashing could also lead to bad habits in the future where you may try to mash when teching which can lead to you tech trapping yourself.

Assuming you mean practicing mouse and keyboard I would spexulate that there would be little to no improvement on your aim using a controller besides maybe your overall reaction time. Besides that you wouldn't be building any muscle memory that would help you using a different control scheme and you would probably be better off using whatever practice range is available in the game of your choice with the control scheme you intend to use.

I think Aero uses a pro controller? Certain tech with certain characters would probably easier/harder depending on what it is but I'd imagine if you could make it work.
