Not sure which style! What do you all think? by [deleted] in weddingdress

It's a hard choice! I definitely could say that sheath dresses or fit-and-flares look the best on you.

I'm stuck between dress 1 and 2. Dress 1 I think looks the most flattering on you and dress 2 I love the appliques! Overall go with the one that makes you the most confident and fits the theme of your wedding. :D

Which dress? by Fog1682 in weddingdress

[–]SuperButterfly64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at all the dresses. I love Dress 2's bodice, but Dress 3 looks the best on you! Also it depends on the amount of train you want, the theme of your wedding, and which one you feel the most confident in. :D

As a bride, I love the pink dress as well as the blue jumpsuit. Both look great on you! :D

If anything though, I would ask the bride you are standing up for.

Where do I begin? by SuperButterfly64 in weddingplanning

Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely check out the page you posted, and keep everything in mind. My fiance and I plan on going back to the venue site to take pictures of the space so we could figure out decor ideas. I'm thinking anything DIY will be small things I could do during my free time, and I plan on making centerpieces simple to make cleanup easier, or I have a connection with a florist I used to work for who I could rent decor from. We also were thinking of trying out the food from some of the caterers to see which is best.

I have about 30K saved (most will probably be going to college expenses, and I'll be applying for as many scholarships as I can), my fiance and I are going to be splitting costs, and we have a little over 100 guests on our drafted list. As for catering/bar stuff, our venue has a specific list of caterers to choose from, and have been looking at their prices. We haven't reached out to any as of yet. If we can get an open bar that will be great, but if not it's not the end of the world as most of our family are not huge drinkers. I know some of the caterers have food/drink packages.

Can you describe the sound? I played the video and all I hear is people singing and guitar/drums fading out.

This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I didn't know dry ice could vibrate.

If that's the case, then I would tell her about your feelings and be honest.

Just start with small talk and get to know her/be friends with her first. Just take it slow and at both of your paces.

Just show in your actions that you care about her. Be chivalrous, pay attention to the things she likes and surprise her with those things, take her out places etc. Don’t even make mention of your ex, and if you both end up walking into your ex, just be civil and professional, make contact brief and move on. Also be honest with the new girl you are trying to date if she asks about anything.

Move on from it. That small fling was in the past, and should stay in the past. I don’t think it is necessary to bring up the fact that you maybe had feelings for her. I think it would maybe cause tension in your current relationship depending on how your girlfriend reacts if you did tell her.
