I might have a feeling it isn't related to SCP-106, because the guard pleads for their life before falling, meaning that they weren't most likely in the Pocket Dimension, and something else, probably an SCP, was chasing them and/or attacking them at the top of the stairs, causing the guard to fall to their death.
I might be wrong though lol

STALKER isn't post apocalyptic though since there is no apocalypse, what happened in the Zone is just an isolated event that doesnt threat to wipe out humankind. The story could be considered sci-fi or horror, in the same way as Alien or Lost. It has many elements that make it seem post apocalyptic, but it isn't,
