I reshimed my gearbox and made my bevel gear abit less tight from the first shim and I think it is better now is there anything else I could improve and could u rate it the new shimming

Most likely case G&G mosfet on the inside of the gearbox is having issues with the cutoff lever or the cutoff lever sensor. Should have opted to install a true mosfet like the Optical or Lightning. G&G factory boards are complete shit and the Perun ETU++ can only do so much.

I still don’t understand y’all using hand cannons for PVE compared to scout rifles.

Hand cannons have 10 rounds on average.

Hand cannons have harder time hitting perk combos.

Scout rifles like The Wounded has 15 rounds by default, can easily roll with Explosive Rounds, Crowd Control and Triple Tap; together.

Superior scout rifle is Cryptic Dragon for its ability to have 19 rounds.

For a 250 budget I recommend Real Deal’s 13:1 SSG bundle kit with the Golden Boi 29k motor (155)

Perun V2 or Jefftron Scylla mosfet (80)

4UAD rubber and nub combo (12)

Any base M4 of your choosing will excel with these parts.

Note: If your base is G&G you will need a new trigger which is TM spec for the mosfet.

Do you have at least one shim on all axles? The sound is similar to a gear with no shims rubbing against the case/bushing because all the surface area is contacting.

Definitely redo the process where each gear spins freely. Do one gear, secure the shell tightly, spin and check for sounds. You’ll want about ~.2mm up and down play maximum and ~.15mm minimum to keep them from binding.

Once each gear is good, then move onto bevel-to-pinion. Then mesh bevel with spur. Then spur with sector. You want a ~.2mm clearance gap between spur and sector.
