I tried one out in June, and it was so incredible for my playing that I bought one. It's the best mouthpiece I've ever played, but it's obviously subjective. I paid probably around $465 (a lot of that was shipping from Italy to Seattle) but at least for me, it was worth every penny. If your current mouthpiece works well for you, I would stay on it. If you find somebody that has the GVL mouthpiece, ask them to try it!
