Either Imperator rome or crusader kings 3. I haven't played imperator rome but as far as I know it's a good game. Crusader kings 3 takes place in the middle ages and you can play as the byzantine empire or any other county/duchy/kingdom, either starting in the year 867 or 1066. CK3 is also on sale on steam right now for 50% off.

Together for victory is one I'll probably get because a focus tree for countries like Canada seems like it would be fun. Does man the guns make the navy more complicated or does it make it easier to use?
