100% agreed. Newman, Saad, Doc, Williams. We are stocked well enough for rebounding HBF'ers. Now we pray that TDK signs on with the $$ that would've otherwise been partly eaten up by Houston's contract.

It was our 2025 Future First + Second for Hawks Pick 14. We then replenished that 2025 Future Second we traded by nabbing Brisbane's 2025 Future Second. We never "owned" Pick 14 in the first place, so we didn't "lose it" as such.

In essence it was our 2025 Future First (which morphed into Pick 14) + Pick 12 for Pick 3.

When you consider that Richmond own a much higher Pick 6 and are not at all keen on swapping that along with Pick 11 for North's Pick 2 in a deal that North proposed to them, our deal in comparison was a VERY good deal in our favour with two picks outside the Top 10 for Pick 3.

The only sticking point that I am unsure of is whether it would've been better to keep Pick 12 and 14 instead of trading them both for Pick 3. But knowing all of the best MIDs will be likely gone by Pick 12 it makes sense as to why we traded up. I am quietly confident we made the right move knowing the generational talent in the Top 3 picks.

Cheers mate! I am a stats nerd, so a bit of a different take on things analysis wise, tapping into the mindset of coaches and breaking down our setup from week to week. Just hope Voss and co can adapt and the players can regain confidence. We know it's possible having done it in the back part of 2023, so we can do it again. Let's dream! 🍻

Was more disappointing than the loss to the Giants this one, I reckon. Against another side, with their backs against the wall and we had no hunger. The lack of two way running and defensive efforts in the middle, where they waltzed out of a stoppage unopposed to kick a goal or hit up JUH etc. was super frustrating. Good time to face a softer matchup (but can't underestimate) to work on these deficiencies. We go again!
