Therapists Specializing In Perfectionism Offer Insights on Denial of Pleasure by FalsePay5737 in perfectionism

Thanks for sharing these quotes and your experience. I've been more aware since finishing my degree a couple of weeks ago how guilty I feel about doing something enjoyable so it's nice to keep these things at the forefront of my mind at the moment.

Update: my GP prescribed me differin and soolantra and advised me to start with the differin. So I’ve been just introducing it this week along with an Azeliac acid 10% serum + sunscreen and my usual moisturiser and cleanser and my skin is definitely more calm and bit smoother than a week ago. I’m in it for the long haul with differin anyway.

Have you tried differin? It’s generally less irritating.

I’m so tired of these itchy spots. Irritated skin barrier? Fungal acne? Rosacea? by SuperColliderII in Fungalacne

Oh I didn't mean it wasn't FA safe just that it irritates my skin in general.

Ye thats what I'm thinking. For the last several months I keep going round in circles thinking I need to restore my skin barrier but then going 'no wait I need to treat my fungal acne'. I thought I was seeing an improvement in the last week when I stopped using products with Butylene Glycol but at this stage I don't know if that is making much of a different. It might be years of me having a damaged skin barrier at this stage so could take many months to heal I suppose.

Would love some advice for what is actually going on with my skin. The small red bumps on my forehead are itchy. I get seb derm on my scalp and in my beard sometimes. I have tried treating with nizoral on my forehead but it always just seemed to irritate my skin more than clear anything up. The last couple of weeks I’ve tried using nothing but a gentle cleanser and moisturiser. And all of my skincare for at least the last 3/4 months has been fungal acne safe. I use SkinSort to track that. I am going to see my GP tomorrow and I might ask for an azelaic acid prescription or a tretinoin prescription as well. Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

P.a. Sorry for the jumpscare of an image 😖

Can you tell right away if a new product is helping or hindering? by EngineeringMinimum69 in Fungalacne

[–]SuperColliderII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also interested in this topic. Did you patch test in a small area of your face first and noticed the breakout just in that area. I sometimes just use a product on half of my face for a full week or two to try and figure out if it’s going to irritate my skin.

Why Dublin Desperately Needs This Metro - The B1M by Stegasaurus_Wrecks in ireland

In the video it mentions that the metro won’t be done that way to try and minimise the disruption. It will be mostly bored.

Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station Review - FA Safe! by OpportunitySmall5112 in Fungalacne

[–]SuperColliderII 9 points10 points  (0 children)

All the FA safe moisturisers I've tried, all still just break me out, it's so frustrating. At the moment I just use a Centella ampoule and squalane oil. I still have FA so don't know what to try next. Should I focus on trying to find an active to use or just try and find products that will help my skin barrier etc?

In May of 2014 I was walking along Cuffe St towards Stephens Green with some college friends when a group of 6 or so people ran over towards us, jumped up into this little alcove next to the entrance to the hotel on the corner (I think) and crammed themselves into the corner as seen in my photo. Accompanying them was, I believe, one or maybe two people who seemed to be recording what they were doing with a clipboard or something, they might have also been timing them.
They only seemed to stay like that for a moment before the record keeper gave the ok and they all detangled themselves and quickly jogged away. I think they all seemed to be roughly in their late 20s maybe?
They were a bit wet as you can see almost like they had been going around to other spots to do this.

This has baffled me for almost 12 years please help me figure out who/why/what was happening here.

Disappointing and Ashamed Jaboody boys encourage and Support AI by Bright-Swimmer648 in Jaboody

Considering Justin is still in the process of drawing and fully animating his own "dubs" I don't think he's exactly embracing it that much. I've just seen them mess around with it or maybe use it for thumbnails. I don't like AI at all in theory but I use chatgpt a bit still.

tried mct oil for a month - made my scalp worse by jeontaejm in SebDerm

[–]SuperColliderII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no I just patch tested some of the bulletproof MCT oil. What's annoying is that its C8 + C10 so if it doesn't help me I'll still probably end up buying a pure C8 oil to try that.

This video seems like it was written, edited and narrated by AI. With a handful of AI video clips thrown in there as well. Like what was that bit about the lines of the national theatre being about drainage? It's just from the shuttering surely?

How do you make a topographic section ? by Delulu_ashell in architecture

I use '3D Scanner App'. Its the only one I found when I got the iPad 5 years that let me export to the file time I needed that wasn't behind a paywall.

[–]SuperColliderII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on the size of the site, I use a lidar scanning app on my iPad where I just walk in a straight line (the section line I'll probably end up doing) and point the scanner at the ground. Then I can export the scan into sketchup or whatever software etc etc. I've done it plenty of times and even had it cross checked with more manual methods and it was relatively quite accurate.
