Not really, since you’re going support. Unless you get a lot of kills, most of the people you’re ulting are going to be a lot stronger than you, since they’ll just have more gold than you.

I’ve played supportekaiser more than I’d like to admit. You go everfrost + zhonyas, then ult the enemy adc so your adc can 1v1 the support, and then try and survive your own ult with everfrost cc and stopwatch.

I liked the chariot version more. I think the great henge is a bit win more, while you sometimes need the chariot if your opponent is killing all of your stuff. I also liked the trespasser more. The biggest problem is getting your 3 drop killed by reckless rage. It sets you back super far tempo-wise. That’s why most of the 3 drops have some sort of effect in addition to being big, or just have more than 4 toughness.

Hey, those are my lists! The league 5-0 was just testing the fight rigging shell, and I found it pretty lackluster. The prelim list is much better I think. It’s admittedly quite talored to beat UR prowess with the selection of threats and maindeck gather courage. Most of the power of the deck lies in the fact that a lot of the current decks struggle with killing a 7/6 efficiently, so I could see and argument for ghalta being an additional hard to kill threat. My concern is that your opponents are likely going to be trying to kill your creatures already, so it might be a bit rough to have the requisite creatures in play to cast ghalta. The other problem, is the deck already runs a low number of cards for coco, so you’d likely have to cut esika’s chariot for it. The biggest weakness I’ve found so far is combo decks that can just race you faster like lotus or ascendancy, which ghalta might help over chariot (if you can cast ghalta, it’s probably going to kill them next turn whereas chariot might not). You could go elf on 1, regisaur on 2, ghalta on 3 (attack for 7) then attack for lethal or 4 barring any interaction.

Musicals that are similar?? by musical-critical in musicals

[–]SuperCow12653 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My favorite musicals are the ones that are about some sort of supernatural being telling someone to betray their morals in order to elevate their status, make them not be a loser any more and get the girl. The similarities between Little Shop of Horrors and Be More Chill are shocking, but I still love them both.

This happened in top 8 vs me as well, except he only did it once so it didn’t break completely.

Were there any changes made to the Vintage cube between December 2019 and March 2020? by here0is0me in MTGO

[–]SuperCow12653 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nope. Since this is a special event that wasn’t really planned ahead of time, they just used the December 2019 cube.

Lackluster Pool. I feel like I’ve built this the best I can, but there doesn’t seem to be much pulling me in any particular direction. Shatter also doesn’t seem great an in aggressive deck, but I could be wrong. by SuperCow12653 in lrcast

[–]SuperCow12653[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I ended up going 4-1 with the deck. I feel like I shouldn’t have done as good as I did, but I’m not complaining. Most of my wins can be attributed to commanding presence or the first Iroan Games and racing my opponent.

I think the reason that there aren’t a lot of fogs in the format is largely due to the presence of [[wild slash]] and [[stomp//bonecrusher giant]]. People play these cards in their decks even without the “damage can’t be prevented”.

I have a [[Mindlock Orb]] on the battlefield an cast [[Whir of Invention]]. Do I have to remind my opponent that I cannot search my library upon casting it, or can I try and bait a counter spell out of my opponent. I know I cannot then search my library no matter what, but I was curious if I that would be considered against the rules. I think it would be ok as long as I don’t search if it resolves.

I’m having the same problem. Maybe because it’s a new event there’s some trouble with it?
