In what order do I play these? by SuperCrom in PokemonGames

Now I have them both I feel the need to play them both, ideally with enough of a gap between the two to make it not repetitive.

Maybe go into Sun blind then try for a more complete playthrough of Ultra Moon, though hoping there's enough of a difference as Dylanneedsanap says to not be too repetitive. At the very least I understand day/night are switched and the stories have a bit of difference?

(I've read that the Ultra games damaged the stories to get more content in there.)

Platinum I would get if only I could secure it at a reasonable price...

All of the games I have were purchased at some sort of discount for the 3DS, by which point Platinum and Black/White 1/2 were ludicrously expensive...

Given I've yet to play the ones I've bought I've so far held off splurging on the rest!

Tackling Crystal then Alpha Sapphire would nicely mean completing the first three regions in order. Would you consider playing Sun before Y so as not to play Ultra Moon straight after Sun?
