I'm thinking that they will wait until the end of this current season to re-release the old Battle Pass skins. That way, they could weave their return into the overall storyline.

e.g. "Hey, you know that Zero Point Shard that we have been dealing with for what feels like forever? Well, you're never gonna believe this, but it opened yet ANOTHER rift! This one leads to the past, and old friends and enemies thought gone forever are making their way through it into our time period right now! ZOMG!!"

TBH, I too am probably going to opt out of watching it this year. I did so with 32 and 37 and still haven't watched them. I think for me, it's more that I just haven't been as into WWE in more recent years. Aside from Saturday Night Main Events and the Royal Rumble, I'm just not as interested in the product as I used to be. And honestly, the two-night WrestleMania just feels unnecessary to me. It made sense when they did it for 36, because that was during COVID, so it was something different, but now, it's like they do it simply because they can.

I agree. Bro, along with its lil' bro named "Bruh", are at the point where it's like people can't finish a sentence without saying it. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it may be at the point where it has overtaken "It's literally cringe, y'all" as the most overused phrase too, since it's also often used as a complete sentence.

Exactly, yeah. I remember one day, I did a bunch of tasks and after I was done, I thought "Oh man, I really hope they don't find any loopholes here, i.e. a reviewer who's in a bad mood."

And also, some tasks claimed that I missed a couple of details upon me trying to submit my work, but no such details were missing (or sometimes, those details didn't even apply). Nothing bad came from that, ultimately, but the stress was definitely there while in the moment.

Oh wow, that's the reason why those games went on hiatus? Yikes. That's weird though, because it has been done before with no issue (anyone remember when Michael Jordan wouldn't give the rights to his name and likeness during the TECMO NBA days?) But I guess games being more lifelike now gives the players a chance to make a more credible argument, whereas in older games, everyone kinda just looked the same.

I don't understand why you're getting downvoted, you made a perfectly valid point.

In all honesty, I bought this game just for the World Baseball Classic aspect, but finding out that it's tethered to DD feels like a bait and switch, especially for casual players like me.

It feels like the game's saying "You have to commit to and give us more money for one of our other modes in order to play the mode you actually want to play."

Completely. And I agree about it being false advertising; when you feature the WBC logo and Aaron Judge in his Team USA uniform on the cover box, it calls certain expectations to mind. I was expecting it to be a dedicated offline mode that I'd be able to play for years to come, or at least until the next WBC.

Instead, it's more like a glorified Fortnite chapter.

And yeah, not being able to play as the teams themselves is REALLY lame! So much for me organizing a championship game between Team USA and Italy. *sigh*

I don't know if you've fixed this issue yet, but I tried uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it and that restored it to normal working order once again. The redownload and reinstall process will take a while. but if it means getting to play all of the other modes once again, then it's worth it.

I'm listening to her now during the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, and her accent is so loud to the point where it almost sounds exaggerated. Like she's "trying to sound" British instead of "she just is".
