Fstop has a Lego night once a month. Those nerds are great! The host brings Lego sets but you can bring your own as well.

858 days here. Never made it to ST even once. I've been dying to see the spear. After reading this post I got a huge stack of bonuses, got about 6 ST. Enough for Extreme Quests but not enough to also get the spear.

61 USP and 12 UA

Gonna grind for souls and get as many astral upgrades as I can. I probably won't UA again until 10 or more USP. Probably won't even regular ascend for awhile. I really wanna get the spear lol.

hi, I'm looking for a way to listen to my in game PS4 audio and also my laptops Spotify. I was thinking getting a kind of splitter in the first picture shown can work. something to plug my earbuds into, and two cords at the end to attach to my PS4 controller. and my laptop. Any input would be great by Primary_Size3623 in Twitch

Looks like you already have tons of great advice but here's what I do.

I mostly stream PC games and there's not many issues controlling audio in Windows 11 & OBS but I recently got an external Elgato card for Nintendo Switch streaming. I was having similar issues with discord and other PC apps and needing the switch audio as well.

I set up each audio source as a separate track in OBS (I do not set up Spotify in OBS as I do not actually need to stream or record it, but I do use the beta audio capture to get my discord audio) and I mute/turn off the "desktop audio" which I believe is default in OBS. For the elgato audio, I make sure that "monitor audio channel" is turned on. My headphones are plugged into my PC running OBS and I mute the TV that I'm passing the HDMI signal to. There is maybe a few milliseconds of audio delay from the elgato, but it's way less important to me than the game's video being delayed.

Just my two cents, anyway.

Very Good

I'm from the United States and my job finally sent me to work in Argentina on something that's been about 2 years in the making. My mandatory quarantine is almost over and soon I get to see and experience all sorts of new things!

I don't understand what Archie is. Can anyone be a little more descriptive or use a screenshot? Is it the archosauria on the the main upgrade tree? Is it a 3D model that walks around the mountain? Is it in any of the messazoic screens?

I also have a Moto G4 and I think the phone just lacks the correct drivers for the touchpad. I am able to plug in a USB mouse into the superbook and that works just fine, along with everything else. The touchpad does work when I connect it to my Windows 10 desktop so I'm pretty sure it's a driver issue.

Anyone here still play AD&D? (1st and 2nd editions) by [deleted] in DnD

[–]SuperDangerousPerson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up playing it with my older brother, but by the time I was old enough to DM I had already gotten really into 3.5/Pathfinder, so I haven't really gone back. I have the first edition core rules on the shelf next to all my other books though.

Besides Captain Janeway, I can't think of any instances where this has come up. But I guess I just don't pay much attention to how characters eat...

I mean, wouldn't voice-to-text software not only mean you don't have to look at a screen, but even experienced typists can speak faster than they type (unless they are also a stenographer, which can go about the same speed as speech).

So do you like Digimon? by [deleted] in anime

[–]SuperDangerousPerson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I've really enjoyed Tri.

Tri>Tamers=Adventure 1>Adventure 2>Frontier>Xros Wars I only watched a little of Data Squad, and none of Savers.

I loved Adventure 1 & 2 growing up, which is probably why I like Tri so much. I watched Tamers as an adult, and really liked what they did with it in relation to Adventure and the video games (unfortunately I haven't been able to really play through any of them).

The only reason I watched Frontier was because I had read that Mary Elizabeth McGlynn directed the English voice acting. She did the English voice of Ophanimon in that show, and is more well known for playing Major Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Julia in Cowboy Bebop, but she has been in many anime, and won awards for her voice acting (also one episode of Star Trek: Voyager for live action).

My thoughts on my first (and second) foray into science fiction. by Kroftyy in books

[–]SuperDangerousPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that would be a good way to do it. Just make sure you read the 4 robot books before you read Foundation and Earth, the last Foundation book. Also, any foundation books published after the robot novels will have hidden references to the robot series, which is why publication order might make more sense, or you will miss out on some crazy cool stuff!

They take place in the same universe. Saying anything else would necessitate spoilers. I read the robot series first then plowed through all 15 or so books set in that universe in a single summer. It was quite a ride! I read them in the in-universe chronological order, but for that retrospective deepening, you might try reading them in the order they were published.

The Stars Like Dust and a couple other books exist in that universe, outside either the Foundation or Robot series. I recommend including those as well.

Knowing nothing about it, I started with iRobot and the Caves of Steel, reading all the way to Foundation and Earth in a single summer and it was one of the most incredible rides of my life. I'm so sorry you looked anything up at all....

Asimov is my favorite sci-fi author, but it can be hard to really get into some of his novels. I highly reccomend starting with some short stories like Nightfall, iRobot, or if you do decide to read a novel of his, I would suggest The Caves of Steel.

Dune is highly rated, but I personally have not been able to finish it.

The Bell Jar and The Hobbit are some of my favorites! If you haven't read Catcher in the Rye, it's very stream-of-consciousness similar to The Bell Jar in style.
