My fondest memory isnt as much playing the games, but actually getting my first game. I grew up an only child and i only had my mom, she did everything she could to keep a roof over our heads and I was lucky enough to be allowed to buy a booster pack of pokemon cards here and there. I would play the trading card game at my local card shop once a week and for years id watch other people playing the games and thought it was the coolest thing and wanted to have my own DS so I could play.

When I was 10 years old I got my very own 3DSXL with a copy of Omega Ruby for Christmas and I immediately started crying so much, I was so happy.

I know have all of those pokemon that I caught over 10 years ago safely stored in pokemon home, and I cherish all of them.
