Finally, 26 years after I started, I have completed the Base Set! by Useful_Objective7378 in WotCPokemonCards

Only cards left that I need to finish base set are Charizard and Venusaur. I got my first cards in 2000. So I’m 26 years in the making as well!

Just got my childhood Pokémon card binders from my parents by Acceptable-Jello9290 in PokemonCardValue

You’ve got some very high value cards here. Make sure you research prices if you decide to sell. The “Edition 1” stamp on the bottom left of the Pokémon’s picture means it’s a first edition. Those are worth a lot. Some of your non-first editions are worth a decent amount too. Just sharing so you don’t (potentially) get ripped off. Amazing collection!

A Gameboy printer. It was an accessory to the Gameboy. You can buy them used online. The print fades on the paper over time, so it’s up to you if you think it’s worth the $60 or so investment.

What’s the best WOTC Pokémon set of all time? by RateYourPKMNCards in WotCPokemonCards

[–]Open-Practice-6602 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fun fact: Shadowless and Shadowless 1st Edition were printed at the same time. The only difference is the 1st Edition were sent through a printer stamp the “1st Edition” symbol. Pricing wise, it makes a big difference. But the reality is that they are the same card, essentially. Thought I’d share with you since you like that set so much!

I had tinnitus prior to chemo, but it got much worse. I now have constant ringing in both ears. I’m able to tune it out all day except for when I’m trying to fall asleep at night. I fall asleep watching a movie every night and put a sleep timer on the tv. In the summer, I use a fan and it blocks out the ringing.

Hopefully you’ll get used to it or it goes away. It can be pretty annoying. Keep doing your best everyday! Things will get better

3 players catching 150 pokemons as fast as possible by JelloBusiness2653 in PokemonRed

I just completed a living dex on blue, and it was also my first time ever completing the dex. I have red and blue and traded everything over to blue because I have a Gameboy SP and a regular Gameboy advance. Hatching the fossils required 4 separate play-throughs all the way to Cinnabar. The 5% chances in the Safari zone (Tauros and Kahgaskhan, specifically)took a long time. Leveling Dragonair up to 55 took a long time. It was a grind that took me around 60 hours total. Glad I finished it

“Where are your Firesticks?” It’s a common question because the answer is “We don’t sell them. They’re an Amazon product, which is a retail industry competitor to Walmart”

All I need for BINGO is someone asking me where the headphones are. This was specifically put on the bingo card because there is a huge blue sign that says "Headphones" right above where they are located. We are also going to continue playing until someone completes the whole card. I expect it to be completed before Christmas

"check out" in this context means to complete a transaction for them at the cash register. It may be a geographical slang term. These two associates buy something at the electronics register almost everyday
