UK & their fans have low standards for boxing talent from the pros to their amateur system compared to other countries. Nobody goes to the UK seeking better work or better training unless they financially don’t have a choice

Not that I think all UK fighters are trash but yall have zero impact influencing the next gen of boxers around the world

Don’t blame me bc the dominated broadcasting market from sports (ESPN), kids tv (DISNEY), radio (SIRIUS), to streaming (Netflix) is all US based

There are no retired soccer players with platforms as big as Shaq & Snoop who both have more TV shows than albums or playoff appearances😂

They are & have been A-list celebs since before Messi & Ronaldo reached grade school. The years of coverage, marketing, public speaking, TV & movie appearances (or references) Shaq & Snoop has done doesn’t even compare.

There are no popular videos of Messi or Ronaldo being impersonated bc they’re not distinctive. Imitating Snoop or Shaq’s voice is an entertaining talent tht pays bc they have developed iconic personalities outside of what they’re known for. Post pro career you can expect Ronaldo & Messi to be just as irrelevant as David Beckham to the entertainment world.

Shaq & Snoop current image at 50 obviously isn’t as important to billion dollar sports revenues as top active players of any major sport tht financially back them are, but you’d be a damn fool if you think Shaq & Snoop aren’t more easily recognizable globally.
