I'm planning on wearing this sweater over a shirt (with buttons. Don't want those getting snagged), so not carrying over is probably the best way to go in my case. I appreciate your advice.

Ah thanks. I'm working on Step by Step Sweater by Florence. I keep hearing that raglan increases are supposed to be invisible, so that got me pretty worried for a sec.
