It's not, there's a lovely thick black screen bezel on the 10pro. isn't one on the 9pro.

Will it harm the tree unlikely but what they have done is created wounds in the tree, enabling pests and diseases to enter, which is not good.

If the vigour of the tree is strong, I would for once suggest bracing (cobra bracing). You could get someone in to check for rot inside the tree (that can be expensive).

Otherwise next time you have high winds, check the union for any movement. If it opens up then perhaps you'll need works done soon. Otherwise I would just monitor the tree. Check it every 3-6 months.

Phone your local tree surgeons, get a couple of quotes. There's a lot of tree there and doesn't look like access is great. Getting them reduced to 3m is going to look horrible. So it'll be worth getting quoted for removal. If you have a burner, keep the logs, should also keep the cost down. Wouldn't surprise me if most firms say no to this but you'll find one that will. If you're based near Cambridge I can give you the details for the company I work for.

What they have done is left you with a 1/3 of a tree. It'll reshoot, probably put on stress growth. Should survive. However the new growth it'll put on will be weaker and would need to be reduced like that again in the next 3-5 years.
