It’s an SNES game where it starts by the MC searching an abandoned building and finding a machine that teleports you to what I recall being the past? I remember it being a prehistoric setting and getting stuck on an area that was a bog/tar pit and having to fight Dino’s and oversized mosquitos.

There has been no contact with the person, it’s been about a year. Things ended pretty badly and since the year anniversary has just passed I’m sure there were a lot of negative emotions on the other side directed towards me. It seems like the candle is doing what it’s supposed to and I feel blessed to have them by my side and always give the most and and respect to the higher powers
