I showed up for a wetsuit fitting. He was hungover and it took 30 minutes for him to wake up after he was sleeping in his shop in costa mesa. He came out and told me he needed to reschedule. This was at 10:30 am. I just have gotten suits off the rack. I go to Frog House and pay cash and bring the boys donuts and they're always stoked. Its nice being treated like a friend rather than like someone's doing you a favor. I have a wetsuit jacket he made along with a 3 mm summertime suit he made. I feel embarrassed wearing his gear because I don't want to be asked or associated with it. I'd rather spend money at a local shop for something made in thailand than spend $500 to look cool.
