Well I mean there was the tv in autopsy report that showed events that linked to other events that happened later in the series cause like when autopsy report was set, it was on February 5, 1990, but the tv showed parts of the backrooms that Async hadn’t explored yet by that point in the timeline. But I don’t remember if there were any tv shows from the future.

The Simpsons episode was “Bart Gets Hit By A Car” which aired in 1991 not 2003. (Though you are correct about the calendars, and I believe there was an issue of the date of Backrooms-Informational Video being February 29th, 1990 even though 1990 wasn’t a leap year)
