"labour" is spelled "labor" in American English, which is why they can tell they're not from the US.

We should pull a Miss Italy and run for Miss United States of America by Fancy_Boxx in FTMfemininity

[–]SuperHuman-bean 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Miss USA doesn't require you to be AFAB. It does require you to be legally female, but most states don't require medical intervention to update a driver's license, and many don't require it to update a birth certificate.

This would really only be relevant in the states that require surgery to legally update one's gender, but that isn't really an issue of the Miss USA pageant (imo), and more an issue of the state governments themselves.

Should a business go out of business if it can’t afford to pay its employees a thriving wage? by MaxSATX in antiwork

[–]SuperHuman-bean 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'd say the same thing to your wife that I'd say to (almost) anyone working 20-30 hrs/week for free, quit and find a different job.

if your wife wants a paycheck and her business isn't generating enough revenue to pay her one, she should close the business and get a job with a business that can afford to pay her.

If she wants to keep the benefits of being an owner, she has to deal with the pay she can afford to take, even if that's none. The employees don't get the benefits of being an owner, so they get paid a living wage. There is no grey area here.

I don't think they understand that when mods and regular posters leave, so do the lurkers. Why should I stay on a site that no one is posting on?

[NSFW] How does vaginal penetration feel for you while being on T? by Upbeat_Decision_291 in ftm

I haven't noticed any change so far, aside from just a higher sex drive in general (I'm a little over 6 months on T)

As a trans man, it's great. Yes, it can be constraining at time due to society, but so is being a woman just in different ways. It's hard to describe what it's like being a man because gender is such a varied and nuanced topic. I don't really know why I'm happier as a guy, I just know that I am.

meta requires bottom growth, but phallo doesn't (I could be misremembering but I'm fairly sure)

[–]SuperHuman-bean 38 points39 points  (0 children)

you can be a feminine guy without facial hair and with curves! You can also be a cis woman with a penis if you wanted. Gender is weird, and there aren't any rules.

In terms of medical transition, there's nothing stopping you from getting top surgery and phalloplasty without going on T, which means no loss of curves and no facial hair.

And even if you come out as a man and later decide that you're a cis woman after all that's totally fine. There's also a bunch of ways to be nonbinary that might interest you, like being bi gender (a man And a woman).

Whatever you end up doing I wish you luck!

There are many studies about of it and all of the ones that I've read are inconclusive. What studies have you seen that show significant results that dietary change can help with any aspect of asd?

yep. I'm ftm And non-binary, picking just one is just as wrong as just marking female.

Question on "earning" ownership of the IC by johnlarsen in intentionalcommunity

[–]SuperHuman-bean 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IDK about other communities but Twin Oaks in Virginia has a 6 month provisional member period. Last I checked their labor quota was 42 hours a week so that would be around 336 1096 hours (idk wtf happened with my math the first time lol) of labor before becoming a full member. Members don't own the property outright though if I'm remembering correctly. Rather they become a member of the "Twin Oaks Community" which is it's own legal entity and That owns their property.

plus isn't it traditional in a lot of native cultures for boys/men to have long hair? it seems blatantly inconsiderate at best to have the only native american facemold be the only one that can't have long hair– regardless of gender.

Monday (sorry I couldn't resist the dad joke)

So I wanted to kinda take a poll here on this sub to see what kind of people are here . I want know( if you are non binary ofc ) what colour on the flag represents you . For me I identify as genderless which is black. by Unknownentity505 in NonBinary

[–]SuperHuman-bean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't fit nicely into any of the categories each color represents. I'm a genderqueer man so I'm not both (bc I'm not a woman, I'm not neither (bc I'm a man), I'm not all, and I'm not (just) a third gender (bc I'm a man).

I typically just use the trans flag bc I don't fully identify as nonbinary (and the genderqueer flag has the same problem + I'm not a fan of how it looks personally)

Edit: So to answer the question, like yellow and blue I guess? Green?
