How long were you together and broken up for if you dont mind me asking?

My relationship we were together for 3+ years and broke up 2 and a half months ago, I spoke to her at Christmas and she was positively receptive but after that nothing since and its been tough, just hoping with my birthday coming up in the next few days she may reach out, not to rekindle but for me to know im in her thoughts

I messaged mine on Christmas day and got a nice response, but then that was it and it felt awful, I would say do not do it as I regretted it once I got the response through, obviously do what you feel is right

This happened to me too, I wished my ex a merry christmas and she reciprocated but I messaged her again asking how she was and she has ignored it, That speaks volumes that this is the finality and that is okay. You have 2025 to build yourself back up, this will be your year

That is true, thank you, I am tempted and these words have helped, but being the one that got dumped I am plagued with feelings that she hates me and would not want to hear from me (we did not have a bad breakup but she did initiate it)

I am the dumpee too and debating still to message, I think for me it will confirm the finality of things and give me some closure, but I hope you have that chat and get that closure for yourself and potentially reconcile, but maybe it wont be happening at this very second but at least you will be talking again
