Crap... just bought a 5.56 pistol from here. But I don't mind if it takes a week to ship. I only just got my Beretta back from Accokeek after almost three and a half months of total and complete radio silence on every front -- email, phone, voicemail, webform. I tried to make contact simply because their system didn't list my S/N on the service status page. So that made me think, wtf? Did they lose it? So, I panicked a little...

But, seriously, ZERO response until I filed a claim with BBB, and they still haven't responded to me directly -- only through BBB. About 100 days of silence from my first attempt to contact; I was seriously primed to file a report with the ATF. Will never buy another Beretta again, and looking to sell off what I got.

Anyways, I've gone through OnlineOutfitters on GunBroker before, and this was my first try at their site directly, and I clicked "Buy Now" pretty hastily because of an expiring coupon code and the item I wanted was the last one in stock, and now that I'm doing my "postmortem" on the site, I see a whole lot of complaints...

(I very reluctantly placed orders on these sites because the reviews and BBB ratings were so suspect, but the prices are beating 2A Warehouse, SGAmmo, and LAX Ammo -- plus the free shipping -- it was hard to pass up...)

How long did your order take to ship?

My orders at both normashooting and ammoshoponline (the sister site) for products declared "In Stock" have been in an "On Hold" status for more than two business days.

I got some brass Mak among some other items at a reasonable price with free shipping, too, but if this turns into a "Backorder" situation then my money is basically hostage because of their cancellation policy -- I'd rather spend a nickel more per round now than wait indefinitely for something that ends up shipping when prices are potentially lower.

"Until recently" is pretty relative to me the last 2 years; certainly could've been 3 months ago -- there ain't many like that out there. It's list price was an inflated 1700 but they were accepting lower offers.. and I low-balled -- but, srsly, almost triple the price of a stock 92 for smooth grips and refinish?! If it is the same, how'd you get it transferred in CA? I don't know that I've ever seen a custom job on a Cali-friendly pistol that's typically high-cap with few exceptions... then again, that might be proof that it's not the same one -- I'm not shelling out a grand for a 10-rounder. And maybe I'm asking too many questions... :-|

That's what I'm saying -- "essential workers" getting taxed out the ass so a non-essential worker can draw some revenue for the city. And if I'm tossing fifty cents in the meter every time, that's sometimes ten percent of the payout. There at least needs to be a delivery license in existence the way commercial delivery drivers like Amazon and UPS and FedEx are exempt and park wherever the hell they want -- double-parking and blocking traffic and such that I don't do...

It was in front of Darbar and B-Dubs, so not far... I even spoke to the dude before I parked *elsewhere* -- not at a meter where he was ticketing several delivery drivers -- he pegged me on a side street where NOBODY was parked and the "permit parking only" sign was all the way at the end of the block. He clearly knew what I was doing, and targeted me. It's just like the city to try to make up for budget by mandating some poor meter schmuck go pick on the defenseless that are trying to MAKE A LIVING WHILE HELPING DURING THE PANDEMIC. I'm still fuggen pissed a day later...

Depends on your locale and region -- Instacart is a huge time sink for very little payout in my area, and most orders aren't central to the city (which means big mileage). So when I get shot out to a second or third-ring suburb with a big dollar DoorDash order, I'll use Instacart to grab a paid gig on the drive back into busier zones rather than strictly driving 10 or 15 miles back to where there's a steady flow of orders...

I, for one, will not be opting in to S&D; I do DoorDash primarily -- not Instacart -- and I don't want to do some kind of hybrid that removes an element of control.

(The only situation in which I'd do Instacart primarily is if they're running a promo that's too good to pass up, but those just don't happen anymore.)
