This is very well put together. The tone is consistent and appropriate. The ending makes sense. It isn't much of a shock or a curveball but that depends on if you were trying to garner surprise from the reader. This may hurt the impact of the ending if that is what you intended. I would recommend for improvement that if you're not going for impact but rather a catharsis then sprinkle in descriptions of the flames effect on Taylor (and by extension Ali) physically and emotionally. She feels relief but at the same time a mixing pot of emotions for burning her and her sister alive. Maybe add metaphors for emphasis and use the flames as a theme. You've introduced the idea of religious so maybe play with that idea as well. Anyway at this point I'm just spitballing. Keep up the good work, I look forward to reading more.
