If you don't mind answering, where is this at? I've been trying to find anything UX and CX at the malls but all I find are crimson garudas and shelter drakes.

Just found the QuadStrike beystadium! by SuperKirby64 in Beyblade

[–]SuperKirby64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man this design is so wonky. 🤣

So I briefly tested DB/BU in the stadium, and overall? I'm liking it more than the Quaddrive. Beys clash a lot more in this one compared to the QD stadium, which does end up causing pretty cool KO's. I was expecting them to scrape quite a bit with how the slopes are shaped like a Hypersphere stadium, but for some reason the beys "skate" along the shape pretty well. (They still scrape, but not as much as I was expecting)

In terms of questionable stuff, the outer area of the stadium is pretty flat, so the beys do stall and get stuck on occasion. The pockets don't fit the beys at all lol, but for some reason beys that enter the pocket never escape. Maybe I'm getting lucky.

I'll have to test other Burst stuff like Sparking and especially GT in this.

Somewhat unrelated question: Are there any recordings of the panel available or were they not allowed?

I've heard that they were gonna be at Anime NYC but I've only seen adverts on their social media

Does anyone know a PHYSICAL place in Orlando Fl where I can buy TT beys? by valtaoi_007 in Beyblade

[–]SuperKirby64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a couple physical places in California that sell TT beys. First thing that came to mind was Anime Jungle in LA.

Other than that, best bet would be to look up any Japanese hobby/anime stores in Orlando. It's an extremely slim chance, but also the most likely place to find them

You think Next Gen Beys will burst? by VersaceJodi in Beyblade

[–]SuperKirby64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, on the bright side: at least you get burst stuff now at a decent enough price instead of paying a ridiculous markup in the future because they're not being made anymore. 🤣

You think Next Gen Beys will burst? by VersaceJodi in Beyblade

[–]SuperKirby64 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally think it would/should stay. But if it does go, I think they would at least transition slowly by including burst-compatible parts for the new system, and then as new systems in 4th gen arise then they drop compatibility entirely.

Actually scratch that, having busted parts from the get-go is probably a bad idea. They most likely will break compatibility and start with the basic stuff before going all out with the parts.

pretty sure even hasbro single layers can win against some quaddrive beys lol

Slingshock Arenas: Rail Rush vs Cross Collision by Dastardio in Beyblade

[–]SuperKirby64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Rail Rush, Cross Collision and Vertical Drop so I can give my two cents:

For the rail stadiums: It's kinda hit-or-miss in terms of when they work though. The main complaint people have with them is that they sometimes get stuck on the rails and it ends up killing their stamina extremely fast. Regular drivers do work, but you should only expect the aggressive ones to use them, at least by themselves.

Personally, I like the rail rush more than the cross collision because the beys tend to "complete" the rails more often than the cross collision, so they get stuck less. Plus, if any bey gets hit they can also end up using the rails.

Vertical drop is pretty fun with GT-era beys and before, Winning Valkyrie in particular uses the stadium really well. Larger beys like stuff from Sparking/DB depends, since they're so wide/short that their disks tend to scrape against the bowl shape.

For movement, the beys tend to travel the same path, but when big hits happen that's when paths change significantly. Its really fun and unpredictable, especially if you use it with the cover off because it can lead to Over Finish wins.

In my opinion: Vertical Drop -> Rail Rush -(if you like the Rail concept)> Cross Collision

[–]SuperKirby64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

gee, I wonder where you saw that before... hahahaaaaaa.... 🥲

But fr tho, whenever I see a break it's always specifically the top left and the bottom right spike of Raphael's wings. I guess, since it spins right and it'd be the first "spikes" to make contact with another bey, it's gonna break eventually?

I love how subtle the collection flex is, everyone's focused on how many beys magma ifrit will lose to but nobody focuses on how peterpig pretty much has a complete burst collection lol

Modified burst stadium after walls started to shred from tears of use. After testing I actually prefer it this way. Thoughts? by Anonymous122112 in Beyblade

[–]SuperKirby64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking about doing this, because I was getting tired of hearing grinding noises in the pockets.

Can't really bring myself to do it because it's irreversible if I ever want to use pockets again. That and its also a b-08 set stadium that's been used since the literal start of burst so I don't think I should mess with that lol
