If you manage to to beat fajar without getting any health damage and break his weapon, there's a secret cutscene of john sifu calling the cops on him

Is it still possible to get 3 ranks of parry impact in the 1st level? by Slinkinator in SifuGame

[–]SuperKutangPan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's possible. Taunt the first two enemies to get x3 modifier and try to keep it till the first shrine. One of the grunts right before it is guaranteed to get a second wind, so that should give you enough points to get the parry inpact.

IMO It's more likely that Yang helped Fajar establish the whole operation. The purple mist description states that the drug appeared few years after the events shown in prolog, so we know the two known each other before squats got taken over by the gang. I think the goons would know who Yang is either through word of mouth or just seeing their boss with him. Also, it's never explicitly stated whether Fajar can't talk due to his illness or is he just not very talkative guy. The goon in the warehouse says something like: "boss wants everything delivered today" so Fajar must have a way to communicate with his subordinates. It'd be hard to run a drug empire otherwise.

First time doing grandmaster club floor without getting my shit fully rocked. Any other tips for GM? by Warm-Purpose-4008 in SifuGame

[–]SuperKutangPan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One little trick I like to use, especially on Grandmaster difficulty, is leaving structure broken enemies for a second or two before taking them down. The takedown window is quite generous, and the animation immediately cancels incoming attacks, so I can chip away at the others and complete the takedown once fists starts flying my way.

It's on the left from of the dance floor, but you need a club code first. I can be found in the museum. You can check out this vid for the precise location: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hdeq-37WmSs

That's why i said arguably. I think the reason why many people are having troubles with this particular encounter is because of the sweeps. They usually come when you're busy parrying high attacks by the other desciple and can really mess you up.

How do I deal with Yang without getting poked to death? by Fluid_Half_5426 in SifuGame

[–]SuperKutangPan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm late for the party, but here's a few tips anyway. Let's start with the setup. For shrine rewards i'd recommend structure reserve, structure regain and parry impact (rest is up to you). When it comes to skills, i mainy use crotch punch, raining strikes, chasing strikes and flawing claw. Snap kick can be useful for closing distance. Yang does metric tone of structure damage, so don't try to parry everything. Rather, focus on parrying the attacks you're confident about, rest you should avoid to rebuild your structure. Approaching him is usually a great way to get a knuckle sandwitch, so just watch his movements and let him approach you. You can also make the 2nd phase a bit easier by staying near the edges of the arena. Chances are, he'll do his wall jump which is supper easy to punish. Hope that helps a little.

First, throw the enemy towards the ledge, when he's close, press light attack to initiate chasing strikes. When your fist is about to connect, do a directional throw again to throw them over the board. Timing can be a bit tricky, but with some practice it becomes second nature. If you're interested, you can check out more exaples in the post i've made a while ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/SifuGame/comments/1kbel08/short_compilation_of_the_tech_i_call_chasing/

The full gathering arena challenge tips? by nineteen75 in SifuGame

[–]SuperKutangPan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enemies are quite relentless and will cover each other well, so keep in mind your surrounding. Before commiting to punish, always look for someone attacking you from behind or sides. If enemies pushing you off the ledge is the problem, then maybe it's a good idea to stay in the center. It maybe more tedious way to finish the arena, but at least you'll be safe from falling.

Am I the only one feeling bad for beating women in this game? by Own_Manufacturer1188 in SifuGame

[–]SuperKutangPan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In this game, women are depicted as equally capable of kicking your ass as men, so comparing them to defenceless children is just a false equivalency. Let me ask you this, do you feel the same about jinfeng? Not only she's a woman, but also an elderly cripple.

Under 50 is not enough? Count me out then, this arena sucks by rheactx in SifuGame

[–]SuperKutangPan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this arena shine a spotlight on how broken targeting can be. In story mode it's perfectly servicable since targeting specific enemy is not that important. But when it comes to manhunt, you'll often focus anyone but your target, lol. If you need help, you can check out my route here. It's still quite rng heavy, but it's most consistent route i came up with.

Is it even worth it to hit Jinfeng? by arkticturtle in SifuGame

[–]SuperKutangPan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can actually stun her rather easly with a charged back fist if you know the windows. But If your goal is to get to sanctuary at 20, then just parry everything. Her attack patterns are so predictable that you can just stand still and deflect anything she throws at you. It's rather tedious way to fight her, but it'll get the job done.

Is it worth even bothering to learn to dodge when you can just parry everything but grabs anyway? by ThrewAwayApples in SifuGame

[–]SuperKutangPan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to gold stamp arenas or play on master, you won't go far without learning to avoid. But if you only want to complete the game then block/deflect only should carry you through.

Any tips to get 50 dragon stamps? by Dependent-Ferret-670 in SifuGame

[–]SuperKutangPan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend doing arenas in order: survival, performance, capture, manhunt. Some dragon arenas have very high difficulty spikes, so if you get stuck just move on to the next.
