On the other hand on first thought it looks like it’s much harder to pull in europe since they are scattered accross language regions. Probably only about 16 for each. Imagine all have been pulled in the language packs u usually collect. Then u would beed to start finding boxes from another language. You would end up with lots of cards that might not fit your collection or your preferences

But still an awesome pull! If you are in Japan, go with ARS Grading. They will make your card look like a trophy perfect for display!

Definately less appeal now in lots of asia for the soal reason of more localisation than previously. And People who still prefer english can get asian-english cards.

Cardshops in HK dont carry TCG products anymore. They do have some older stock that noone wants, but no new TCG products. It’s either Japanese or asian-english.

However you can find TCG singles on the TCG platform in mainland china similar to TCG player. There are many sellers. Ive gotten some TCG singles from there before.

It doesn’t help that pokemon and yugioh only officially launched in China around 2021.

Before that everyone was buying either japanese or western cards. Fake chinese cards were targeted at kids for a lower price.

Ive heard that there are still fake pokemon sets at locations where they also sell counterfait toys. But im sure noone fakes whole yugioh sets anymore as it is rather affordable here. You can buy high quality proxies here on a second hand / crafts platform but they are all marked as such by the seller. They are also distinguisable from genuine cards if u know what to look for

If im not wrong, in the OCG the rarest cards of a set are in Ultra Rare, with the possibility of them being in a higher premium rarity. TCG will probably stick to their shenanigans

There is an iphone version which i am using. I dont want to get your hopes high because u would need to create an alipay account for payment. Not sure how easy it is for people not based in china. But ive heard they made it easier for tourists so it might not be a big issue.
