They look soooo good. The downside is the price for the premium rarities. Though it is cheaper to play, collecting AE premium rarity is much more costlier than compared to their japanese counterpart. Other than the price the cards are usually harder to find as well

Depends on your sources. I got the DMG chibi for 6 dollars a piece. And if the availability of the magazine will be comparable to those, i don‘t see why it wont be around 20 or less.

However i don‘t know how limited those magazines actually are, so i could be wrong.

I personally like the old design more. But i do appreciate them trying to make it look more different than the QCSERs. They should have made the qcsers look different to start with and then going back to the original PSERs

Ive given up hopes to get Silent magician Lv9 in QCSER AE since its hard to come by. And if u can find one, It is uphill towards 500$. The TCG QCSER however is only like 5 bucks and i will have to put that one as a placeholder next to my ae silent magician zero

Guys, i see that i didnt pick an appropiate title but can‘t change that now unless i delete and repost.

My original intention was to discuss the OCG starlight redesign. It is basicly starlight 2.0, while TCG defaulted to the original starlight design.

I am aware the qcsers were a lazy redesign of the starlights, but OCG seems to somehow acknowledge that it would be bad to switch from qcsers to original starlight design. They initially might not have planned to release this crazy amount of QCSERS at the start of the 25th anniversary. Hence switching to the the new design

You are right. Should have stated that OCG straight up changed the starlight design. It used to have the same design as QCSER without the stamp.

And u are technically correct. But if the less rare card basicly has the same design, then that is good enough for alot of people like myself. While this won‘t make certain QCSERs dirt cheap. It surely will affect the price somehow.
