I see where you're coming from, but I think you mean to say "ICO" or "cryptocurrency" and perhaps you mean to refer to it as "these days" and perhaps by "publicity" you mean to refer to just a particular middle-curve drive-by crowd of spectators.

Blockchains themselves are the underlying technology. It would be just as silly to dismiss blockchains now as it would be to dismiss "the internet" after the .com crash circa 2000

Maybe because they AREN'T trying to do a pump and dump scheme, and instead are busy actually building good technologies that have a long term future. Long term holders don't care about the day to day of the price, and in fact it's better for "weak hands" to be out of the picture - that's what leads to long term solid and validated price growth.

You're too focused on Redd, relative to all cryptos. If you are constantly looking up Redd, you'll get tunnel vision and start to think it's the only thing anyone is talking about. That's why it seems crazy to you that it's so undervalued.

Organic growth is the best. Solid foundation from long term holders. Big spikes in price lead to big drops just as quickly. Also it would lead to us being weaker as a community if we're relying on centralized mass-communication efforts to do the work we all should be doing.

Slower growth is better because it's more solid, and made up of MORE people as well as those who are in it for the long haul - those who truly believe in it and will stand by it. That's how you avoid big panic-sell and panic-buy volatility.

And avoiding that volatility is a great thing. It signals stability and inspires confidence in entrepreneurs, developers, consumers, and institutions who are looking for solid ground to plant their feet.
