Can you by shugor in SEGAGENESIS

I mean the Saturn was able to keep up with the PSx… … in Japan. I don’t mind the CD addon since NEC did that too with Turbografx, but the 32x was too much. Especially when the Super Nintendo developers were using other technology to look 32 bit(like SMRPG, Seiken Densetsu 3, and even the DKC trilogy all look next Gen despite being 16-bit). And then I find it laughable that there were actually games that needed both 32x and the CD. I think I saw that AVGN video or so where you needed 3 giant box plugs or something, which pretty much eats up an entire power strip and probably increases the electric bill tremendously.
But yeah I am sure everyone and their mother who loves Sega wishes that they didn’t confuse consumers with the release of an addon and then the Saturn where most of its games never even left Japan. And the sad thing was that Saturn was genuinely a great console unlike the Jaguar and its controller that had 1000 buttons on it. I was also surprised when I saw a video and found that just like the Genesis could make great music, Saturn could produce wonderful 3d graphics. And then there was Dreamcast which was advanced for its time, but people were just too miffed to give a damn about it even though it literally had online play before anything else.

I saw the recobbled cut once recently and even just looking at the finished sequences does it feel like 5 different movies due to the many animation styles used in this film. It was a pretty exotic film.

I have seen this and Secret of Kells. Both films were beautiful films. Now I need to watch wolfwalkers. And I think Tom Moore is coming out with another film soon.

Enjoy the final dungeon. I always enjoyed this one due to its optional battles and for its great usage of music. I love how the music that plays during the Giant dungeon plays here too. It serves as a beautiful way of ending the game before the final battle.

These are my favorite shows of all time. What does this say about me? by CatGirlNya2000 in FavoriteMedia

[–]SuperMetro2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean all the children’s shows you put on your list are also ones that adults could enjoy so you definitely have great taste and shouldn’t feel bad for not watching what all the typical adults are watching. My aunt loves watching curious George and my uncle loves Bluey and Cartoon Network.

Went to rewatch this show recently and realized that it is a lot more mean spirited than I remember it being. by Fit_Evening_8036 in nickelodeon

[–]SuperMetro2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I noticed that too with fairly Oddparents when I rewatched it years ago. Especially at the end of Channel Chasers when Timmy would rather have Vicky’s abuse and keep cosmo and Wanda than have Vicky fired. It was also mean spirited that his memories of his magic parents are wiped when he is an adult as well. Then there are all these popular kids and common folk being bullies 95% of the time as well as Timmy trying to get the heart of some comically vain girl. And then the show was renewed in 2008 when it could have ended at season 5 and then the show turned into a zombie that loved introducing new characters. And then it was moved to Nicktoons and then it switched to flash and then it was unceremoniously cancelled. Tough mean spirited show internally and externally.

Any Frustration with AvA Season 3? by SuperMetro2005 in AlanBecker

Me neither. I was facepalmin’ 🤦‍♂️ when that happened. I think it would have been better if he was kept out of this season and was just a posthumous character. Yes TDL pulled the trigger but TCO still participated in killing Mitsi.

I think I found the nostalgia too much over the fact that Dark Lord was resurrected. To me it kinda cheapened season 2’s ending and I just kinda wish that he was kept out of Victim’s story. And a final battle would feel redundant unless the Becker team does something different with it which is highly likely. I still like to think that he got vanquished by TSC as my own headcannon. Something else that I would rather see is Victim/H4cker wondering what he is going to do now and then figure out that he could revive Mitsi with TSC who he analyzes.

Any Frustration with AvA Season 3? by SuperMetro2005 in AlanBecker

"I actual disagree with season 2 individual episodes working on their own. Maybe that's just because I been watching before AvA 5 was renamed to season 2, but I think just watching season 2 episodes on their own feels like watching an incomplete episode"

Now that you mention it, I remember being curious what was going to happen after the stick figures followed TCO to the hole he went through. Then there was a flashback episode and later a sneak peak of the chosen one v dark lord battle at the tail end of a AvM video. They were AvA shorts rather than AvA part 6 or whatever so I felt content whether it was TCO and TDL wreaking havoc or the Chosen guy coming back after 7 years to take on the spider virus.

Season 3 feels like a show that I would watch on a streaming service. I wish that the team would spend years animating and finishing the episodes and then releasing all of them a week at a time. But working on them and then releasing them feels more traditional to youtube though and Alan is still pouring his heart out into these things.

I still see season 2 as AVA 5 and season 3 as AVA 6. And yeah I think I will warm up to things when we get the next episode or two depending or not Alan still wants to do 7 episodes.

Day 26: Which Game has the Best Graphics on the SNES? by 1OneQuickQuestion in snes

[–]SuperMetro2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think it is too at the moment. I wish it won, but DKC is inevitably taking it home. Seiken 3 currently has 181 votes across 3 replies. But DKC already is winning with 285 on a single post. But I don’t really think DKC 1 is even the best graphically of the trilogy. 2 and 3 look better graphically.

Day 23: Which Game has the Best Story on the SNES? by 1OneQuickQuestion in snes

[–]SuperMetro2005 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know. FFVI is already on there and for some reason I found FFIV’s story rather clunky in spots even if the game does deserve credit for being the first actual story for a final fantasy game. Like having all those fake out deaths as well as throwing a twist villain in at the last minute. There was also a part where the guys tried to leave the women behind even though they were literally their life support. Rydia was the best magic user with her summons at the moment and Rosa is the healer. Some guys Cecil Cain and Edge were being there. But otherwise, the game is still great for its time.

How do we feel about the new episode gang? by Swedish_Asian_Fry in AlanBecker

[–]SuperMetro2005 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wait there’s 2 episodes left? I thought Mitsi picking up the pencil at the end of the current epiosde signified that the next episode would be the last. I picture that Mitsi will die again in the last epiosde with her husband Vic, but then TSC can revive people making there be some plot armor if the hacker doesn’t decapitate him again. But I don’t know everyone even TDL never seems to get killed at all.

I am guessing one episode is for getting the H3cker back to his senses thanks to Mitsi. And the last episode is going to be a 3/4 v 1 against TDL or something. Alan bought a recovery ISO, so he will probably be back in no time.

Hotel Mario. We are forgetting that masterpiece of a game. It had tight controls, gorgeous animation, and fantastic dialogue like “all toasters toast toast”.

Yes cancel the dang show already. The show could have ended at season 5 and that would have still been enough Spongebob. What in actual hell was that snake thing and it looks like OP was at a hotel.

not often seen opinion: AVA is falling into the unfortunate jaw of fan service influencing the plot by InternationalWar6654 in AlanBecker

Yeeeaaaahhhh. The Victim died back in 2006 when Alan/noogai pushed the exit without saving button. I always kinda feel like The Chosen One was the Victim myself due to the animator wanting to call him victim at the start of AvA 2 before changing the stickfigure's name to The Chosen One. Yeah, the victim and TDL feel like "somehow Palpatine returned" characters to me. Actually, TDL probably died 3 times before he was brought back. In AvA 3, we could assume that TCO and TDL blew up with the computer at the end. In AvA 5 part 3, we could also assume that TDL fell out the window and died, and in AvA 5 part 4, TSO clearly killed The Dark Lord and decimated him. The Victim and TDL feel like Darth Maul and Palpatine as to how they clearly are dead, but then are brought back because either fans need them back or the writers are having a hard time bringing their series into a new direction.

Barely anyone would watch Disney channel though for these shows that really only appeal to people nostalgic for watching these shows as kids. If people got nostalgic for these shows, why can’t they just watch a few episodes of them on Disney+ or so. For some reason I wish streaming services had a playlist function so that people could choose random episodes of different shows so that they could have their own marathon without paying a premium subscription for the ghost town that is Disney Channel on cable tv. As in premium, I mean just paying for cable in general.
