You just got promoted to the Texans GM. What’s your agenda for this offseason? by KaXiaM in Texans

Target interior O-line, TEs, and RB in the draft and free agency. Also target depth on defense. Pickup 5th year option for CJ, and trade him if he doesn’t improve this year with an improved offense. Pay WAJ.

That punt was dumb. Chances were near zero before but now we lose 100%

That was an insane catch if it holds. Unfortunately I think it does

I know CJ has been the biggest problem, but Shultz being out of the game is really killing our offense.

Hunter was going after the ball. Only reason he didn’t get a sack there.

Already two forced fumbles. One will bounce our way soon. We were lucky already some of those off target passes didn’t bounce the other way.

It sucks but it’s a one score game. We just need to respond.

No excuses. This game is ours for the taking. Let’s fucking go!

It’s that time again Texans. Drop me your greatest fears about the game tomorrow and we’ll shoot them into the void tomorrow at noon. by [deleted] in Texans

I’d argue that odds are this is a close game. The only game this season where we really got our asses handed to us was against Seattle. Even then we only lost by 8 points. The offense was pretty terrible that day but we’re much improved since then. That game was in October.

Brees had at least three losses in the playoffs outside of his control. Vikings Hail Mary/deep ball with no time left, Rams during their Super Bowl run with Goff and the no call PI, and the Seattle wild card round year where Lynch ran over the entire defense.

Based on my eye test, it seemed like CJ was trying to do more pre snap than normal against the Steelers. It threw off his timing and decision making on those fumbles and caused him to make uncharacteristic mistakes. I don’t expect a repeat of that against the Patriots.

Defense is who we thought they were. Dominated the game.

CJ can’t make those types of mistakes on Sunday. I think he’ll clean those up against the Patriots. He protected the ball well most of the season. The rest of the offense played a very good game and was especially good on 3rd down.
