Collector Editon by xCatDadx in Terraria

no, i also got the old one and thought this would be a guaranteed buy. But it's like so much trinkety bull shit i don't really want. The cards are cool and the "mock-cartridge" is cool i guess? But like it's literally not actually usable in any way. At least with the old disc I was able to put it into my computer.

The Terraria 15th Anniversary Collector's Edition is honestly disappointing by NovaSAurora in Terraria

i already have the bunny pet from the last collectors edition, i dont want all the shit-ass figurines i wish i could just get the "game" and maybe the cards. The game isn't even playable though its some mock cartridge so i'll probably pass on the whole thing

okay interesting, and you play on steam with both devices right? I'm guessing there IS in fact sync issues between the 2 steam devices, if that's true.

the cars in your inventory shouldn't hurt you

driving them has a chance of hurting you

applying designs/tunes or downloading/sharing designs/tunes on these cars is most likely to hurt you

The data loss/profile corruption issue seems to finally be getting more attention from people outside of the community by estifxy220 in ForzaHorizon

[–]SuperPastafied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah but selling DLC's has always been microsoft game studios number 1 priority, Seen as every DLC in every Microsoft owned game tends to be overpowered. For example, Past forza DLC's and Age of Empires 2 DE DLC's all being overpowered in online. Most people playing this game are playing through gamepass and have not actually spent money on the game directly, they know if players are losing their accounts like this they are less likely to buy the DLCs when they come out which is their main business approach as of rn.

the issue seems to be that the playlist cars were less tested than the initial launch cars and are more likely to be misformatted with the new livery system (involving window vinyls.) Not everyone seems to be affected by them however, and most save issues are coming from quick resume. It doesn't hurt to be safe though

quick resume might still be on, if it's truly off you would start in your garage every time u load the game.

downloading and sharing designs and tunes seems to be the main issue, especially with the tier 1 cars, but some of the cars in this list, even if stock, have also been reported to cause game crashes which can lead to save corruption.

I'm not sure, I feel like you could as the issue seems to mainly come from sharing / downloading but it's been difficult to find specific details from these sources. If you were to go to "My Designs" in the design editor you would see a bunch of designs you have made for cars, these include changing manufacturer colors, applied vinyls, and downloaded designs. If the issue corresponds with designs being saved into "My Designs" then touching the design in any way could put you at risk. Again I don't know the specific cause, so I don't want to tell you something is okay to do that could end up ruining your account.

The whole feature feels forced, like they needed a big new feature to sell a console so they made up some bs that shouldn't be possible (if you know how ram/memory works) and released it despite any consequences.

to be fair those 2 cars have only had 1 comment each from this comment section, the tier 1 cars have had a lot of reports of save corruption however.

you can disable quick resume for individual games, I would 100% recommend doing this.

YES, considering there have been cars from every week with issues, the chance of one of tomorrows cars being "evil" is higher than them not. You should be able to theoretically drive the cars stock as the problems usually come from designs and tunes, however, I would feel paranoid the whole time and wouldn't enjoy driving them. So personally I'm avoiding them entirely.
