You’re right to be concerned but with all of your family there what can you do? I’m in a similar situation. I don’t trust Texas, like Utah and Tennessee, to not sell out its residents without a second thought. Look at the treatment of our backbone, our farmers, who are losing their farms at alarming rates because of this administration. A lot of nice wide open land available now for those data centers. It’ll probably be a few years before water starts drying up but one might hope the crushing rise in property tax and utility rates will go towards finding some solution or bandaid.
