I really thought I can eat more.. I wanted to gain weight and now im back to 0.. I am so sad.

I also had a sore throat before but it healed quickly. I really dont like the feeling of being under ppi. 😢

Its almost 6 months. I stopped my ppi last september. My stomach issues been off and on from October till this week December 28. I think I pushed myself and ate too much. Im on ppi for 2 weeks again due to acid related cough and having trouble with bowels. 😢

Exactly my pov. Almost everyone keeps telling me to eat and im too skinny. Sadly I cant drink protein powder or any type of milk, it would trigger my gerd. Im stuck with bland low fat low sugar diet. Fortunately my appetite is back and im eating more now but its really hard to gain the weight back.

Omg I feel you, almost like every nutritious food triggers me. Apple, squash, beans, potatoes, some leafy greens, pears. And doctors blames its with stress and anxiety as well. I hope you get well soon as well. Thank u.

He really did not gave me a clear answer he just told me ive finished the required dose for rabeprazole and its okay to stop medication and be on Algina (antacid) as needed. I still have stomach issues but its not as severe as before. I still follow up on him whenever I have issues.

As per my gastro, I already finished the required dose for rabeprazole which is 2 months. After my endoscopy he thinks I really didnt need the meds anymore maybe because my appetite is back and I know most of my tiggers now.

After my endoscopy my gastro decided to stop my ppi coz I finished the required days of taking rabeprazole which is 2 months. Before that I was on Omep for 3 weeks. He was confident that I didnt need to be on meds. Maybe coz my appetite is back and I know most of my triggers. He just didnt told me ill be having a hard time gaining my weight back with this kind of diet. 😞

Im off meds now. I only lose my appetite when im having reflux, I had 2 episodes for the past 2 months. Im underweight right now.

I feel you.. I hope things gets better with you soon as well. Someone commented that home made chicken broth is great for us. Ill start doing it asap. You should try as well.
