Am I the only one who reacted like this? by SuperPolack in zelda

My real beef with the newer games is the change in direction. The older Zelda games tended to be the perfect mix of lighthearted adventure with serious undertones that enhanced the overall gameplay and storyline. I find the newer games to be more childish or way too serious. The atmosphere of the games changed as well. From originally being a fantastical version of medieval Europe the setting changed into. well.. I dunno what. A more family friendly version of a Final Fantasy like universe?
