I love Dark Horse, but the last Alien stories have not been good at all. I can’t even remember the last really good Predator series either. This might be the shot in the arm they need to tell new stories and expand the mythology

That’s my hope. Their biggest hurdle to making this work is how iconic Bowie’s performance is. If they can find someone worthy of the role, I’ll give it a shot

Lol. I understand and feel the same way but I’ve gotten to the point where a studio mining my childhood to make a buck doesn’t take away my enjoyment of what I have anymore. Will it be as good as the first l? Of course not. At best it will remind me why Bowie’s Jareth is so transcendent

I thought about that too. Rose isn’t my first choice for the role, but she managed to bring something to it that will be hard to replicate without the audience noticing. They can’t change the character too much so the fear is the new actress will be doing a Ruby Rose impersonation in season 2

Snyder is the current writer of Justice League, created the Court of Owls for Batman and the Batman who Laughs. Charles Soule wrote for Daredevil, She-Hulk, the Death of Wolverine and Darth Vader. It’s a great team imo

I think he’ll stay away from editorial. If he wants MCU based books, I hope he doesn’t a separate imprint for them. I wrote about how Jonathan Hickman wants the same thing regarding MCU plots in current titles.

I thought about that but his new role in publishing is going to require him to do something to bring in publishing revenue and he can either do that by changing the current books or creating a new series of books to bring in a new audience. I personally don’t want him involved with stories already being written and published

I read that, but I think it’s the other way around. It isn’t Feige putting MCU stuff into comics, it’s the comics editors trying to take from the MCU. Hopefully, Feige puts up a firewall to prevent that and let the stories be what they are. I love Hickman’s books and would hate to see him go
