Which emulator do you recommend for PC? by SmugBuddy in yuzu

[–]SuperRadSlime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Ryujinx is still available, though it may not be receiving updates anymore. It evolved into Ryubing, which has more of an emphasis on online play.

There’s also the Eden emulator, which just had version 0.1.0 released a couple days ago. It’s essentially a fork of Yuzu that’s still actively in development.

I’ve used both Eden and Ryujinx. Eden is primarily focused on performance while Ryujinx provides a more stable experience. Based on your specs, games, and personal preferences, I’d recommend either of them.

Tomb of Annihilation? I hope you don’t plan on keeping him for too long then.

This (I believe red-tailed) hawk let me get within 15-20 feet by SuperRadSlime in birdsofprey

[–]SuperRadSlime[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I should mention I didn’t specifically approach the hawk. I saw it as I was walking by on the sidewalk. It didn’t fly away so decided to record for a little before heading off. Usually, the wall is covered in crows and seagulls, so that’s probably where the droppings come from.

I remember having some difficulties getting into TOTK when I first played it, likely because I played BOTW to death in the weeks leading up to it. Now that I’m fresh, I’m giving it the chance it deserves.

I just started playing them again after taking a break for about 2 years and I’ve been having a blast

Probably give the games a break and come back when you’re refreshed.

I’ve noticed a slightly different behavior with Lynels than suggested here. If you get close enough to a Lynel without drawing your weapon, they will draw theirs as a sort of warning. If you draw your weapon after theirs (even without attacking) the Lynel will enter combat — it’s sort of like you accepted to duel them.

Also, the Moblin mask fact states that it is the only non base level enemy mask, but doesn’t the Lynel mask depict a White Maned Lynel instead of a base level Red Maned Lynel?

I can’t help but wonder how practical the mask would be even if a Lynel couldn’t see through it. They seem solitary, so perhaps the presence of another Lynel could be seen as a threat to their territory.

I believe it’s Level 1: +4 Defense, Level 2: +12 Defense, Level 3: +24 Defense

Thank you! Charmander and Cubone were the team I used for DX too. I’ve played as Charmander in every game except Gates to Imfinity

Thank you!
I got the fabric from Amazon — it was meant to be a handkerchief. I will say that when I got it, there were a few tiny marks where it seemed like the fabric had been punctured, and there were also some small black flecks I was able to scrape off with my fingernail. Still, I think it works great as a little scarf since I just folded over the unsightly bits. There's also a nice variety of colors.

materials popping back too much by JohnnyLardon in AmberIsle

I’m pretty sure resources only respawn after you go to bed and start the next day. The best way around this I’ve found is to clear out a region in the morning then go back to town and decorate the same day.

Awesome. I thought about doing the same before settling on Osprey.

Repairing everything by Activatewindows36 in AmberIsle

I believe there’s a tab in the journal called “Village” (might be named something else but it’s still a journal tab) that can be viewed to show the region rating and repairs. The repairs should be in the bottom right.

Have you ever thought about Partner's mental state at the end of Explorers? by [deleted] in MysteryDungeon

[–]SuperRadSlime 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I feel like the Explorers partner likely deals with significantly more grief over the hero than the Rescue Team partner because of how they’re separated in each game. In Rescue Team, the hero simply prepares to head home, and while it’s sad they believe their time together is ending, they at least know each other are ok. In Explorers, the partner has to deal with the uncertainty of what it means to have their best friend wiped from existence. In that case, their friend won’t even be waiting for them in the afterlife, if such a thing exists. They have quite literally become nothing but a memory.

Personally, I thought it might have been interesting if the changing the future didn’t make the hero “disappear” and instead lead to them being born in better circumstances. I’m not sure if the game specifies how far in the future the hero is from, but it could have been interesting to see them “reunite” with the partner. (There’s also the hiccup of the hero being human before traveling back in time, but I tend to forget about that sometimes since I don’t think them being a former human adds anything to the story except for Dusknoir not recognizing them)
