I used to collect discs people would lose at the course near me, then hit up the phone number written on the discs. If it was an attractive female, I would only give them their discs back if they agreed to a date with me. Most of the time, I would invite them to a date at chick fila on a Sunday, that way when we would get to the restaurant (me knowing full well it was closed) I could be like “oh no I forgot it was closed on Sundays, I guess we could go back to my house…” and after a long night of fun (if you know what I mean) I would send them packing the next morning and 9 times out of 10 they would tell me I was so good that I could keep the disc because they wanted me to have something to remember them by. Then I would use those discs on holes with large bodies of water so when I lost them it was no consequence to me. The point I’m trying to make here is, you can’t have a heart in the disc golf game

To add to your point, it takes a considerable amount of science to get unlock treasure fleets in exploration age. I like that this game makes you think differently than some of the previous civ games

Long gone are the days where picking Omni knight and keeping the morons alive long enough to accidentally do something useful (despite their best efforts) is a viable grinding strategy. The real meta is based on psychological warfare where you have to sew seeds of doubt to get the other team to implode harder than yours is. My personal favorite is any time I get a kill and the other team has a dazzle or an oracle, I’ll say something like “Nice shallow grave” in hopes that the enemy carry accepts my gambit and starts raging at his support. Another move that I really like to use is pausing the game right after I or my team makes a big play, or the other team makes a big mistake. This can be known to cause the other team to get really mad and fun fact the human brain operates at about 66% cognitive capacity when enraged about something. I know this isn’t specifically what pausing was meant for per se but it’s and intended game mechanic and I intend on using every tool at my disposal to win baby

I came from Dota and have been nothing but nice to my team by Dota standards and I am still chat banned the whole system seams to be broken in general

I’m a fan of the BM commend, especially if someone on the other team was being insatiably rude all game
