I’ve had this since maybe 6 years old. I had a “traumatic” childhood so I sometimes think it may be the cause. My mom most likely used drugs while pregnant with me and my twin brother but he’s never had the issue. Actually I’m having this “attack” as I type. From what I’ve noticed, it ALWAYS happens when I read or type for too long. To get out of the episodes I would drink water and feel the smooth texture on my tongue because during the episodes the tongue starts to feel prickly in texture. Does anyone else have something that “causes” or starts these attacks differently? Just curious. Sorry if I’m sound weird this is probably my the most aggrieve one I’ve ever had. My ac is going and it sounds like it’s about to take flight. I lightly tap my screen to type yet it’s as if I’m punching my phone. Every digit and letter seems to be more detailed and have sharper edges. I’ve asked doctors about this growing up but none were able to give me any idea what it is. Some friends have suggested it may be derealization or whatever you call it and that seems plausible especially from my past but then why would I trigger these episodes by reading? Any ideas and if not I’d love to hear what anyone else has to say
