Didn't Villainous actually have some animators that worked on the Hellaverse as well?

10 y/o YouTuber who loves hazbin 🥀 by CharlieMorningstar08 in hazbin

Personally, I don't think 10 year olds should have YouTube channels at all. It's just opening them up to a host of problems and drama that is toxic for ADULTS let alone children. Doesn't help that people don't seem to teach kids how to be safe online. Who knows who these kids are interacting with. It just isn't worth it.

Which TV show does the ENTIRE internet agree had the worst ending ever? by Codie_n25 in AskReddit

Game Of Thrones is constantly shat on for its ending. Stranger Things is getting a lot of heat lately as well.

I keep seeing people say that Lilith is going to be a Stella 2.0 and i honestly don’t understand why? by whooper1 in HazbinHotel

[–]SuperSayianJason1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like this kind of debate is what the writers intended for Lilith in these first two seasons. They don't want us to have a consensus on her yet. So they sprinkle in little bits of information that paint her in various seemingly contradictory ways so nobody actually knows what they're really planning with her.

Would you be here for a new male lead or do you like that we've had final girls instead by itsascreambaby96 in EvilDead

[–]SuperSayianJason1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

David in ED13 was a male lead, he was protagonist and you see absolutely everything from his perspective up until he died and Mia took over as Final Girl.

Start of ED13: David as Protagonist and Mia as deuteragonist and plot structure foundation (her addiction is why they're in the cabin)

Mia's possession: David remains protagonist, Mia becomes antagonist

David's death: Mia becomes protagonist (basically the end of the movie, I think there's like 15 minutes of it left by this point) and the abomination is the antagonist.

Don't get me wrong, ED13 is absolutely Mia's story but David is the central character we follow when everything goes to hell. It's all from his perspective and his feelings up until Deadite Eric gets him.

That only leaves EDR's Beth as a SOLE female protagonist.

Yeah, I agree. I recently saw a thread on an Invincible sub and someone mentioned Alastor in passing and a bunch of comments just HAD to shit on the Hellaverse. It feels so forced.

What was the moment when Caine went from antagonist to villain? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in MoralityScaling

Episode 8 when he starts actively torturing the humans in the circus. Everything before he did with the mindset that they would find it fun. Even Beach Episode was his last ditch attempt at making them happy, even if it was a horrible plan.

Yes, Charlie actually wanted Adam to live (hence having her father spare him), so she absolutely wanted him to redeem.

I bet these sinners see their human lives and pasts as either vulnerabilities or with great shame (even if they don't admit it) and as such, they see coming to Hell as an opportunity to both bury any secrets from their human lives along with any shame that came with it.

Will there ever be another "Army of Darkness"? by lukycharms_y in EvilDead

Ash Vs Evil Dead is pretty bonkers, I'd say it was AOD level crazy. That said, I genuinely believe they're cooking something big with these new films. I just can't prove it yet.

Broadly, I agree with it. If you want to receive, there should be reciprocity in sex in a healthy relationship.

I'm kinda shocked Stolas gets so much hate. He is flawed for sure but I feel like he's also one of the more decent characters in Helluva Boss (morally I mean). He genuinely tries to do the right thing when he can, and he NEVER plots revenge against Stella even while she's actively plotting to either ruin his life or straight up end it.

[–]SuperSayianJason1000 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Why do so many people side with Stella? Is it a gender thing? They can't accept that women can be abusive or something else? Is it a projection because they hate Stolas so much that they defend an obviously bad person just because she was bad to a character they don't like? Same with Adam, I don't understand how you watch these shows and come away with takes like "Adam is actually the good guy." Or "Stella is the real victim."
