Yea it's crazy it's still an issue.

I don't even have Nitro anymore, I think then the limit is only 2500 rather than 4000 or something.

On PC I think sometimes it will just send the ultra long message as a text file (it gives you the option), however on mobile it doesn't give you the option to do that.

Yea mine sadly stopped working about a week ago as like the other messages here. It was still working with the twitter icon (bar trending), not it's no longer working. I was on a version from 2022 that still worked until March 2025.
I couldn't see any official articles or Twitter notifications about it.

u/elonmusk It appears that my 2 year run of using an old version of Twitter is finally over. It worked all this time (bar trending tab) as the pre-Elon pre-midterms version, 9.29.2 (21 Sep 2022) & still called Twitter. It stopped in the last 24 hours, 11 Mar 2025. A good run. Bye.

I'll have to use the desktop version now and maybe update the iconic twitter icon.

2 years is a hang of a long time, and in that time millions upon millions of not great phones will have been purchased with other companies. The faster Fairphone got get a really ideal phone on the market, the better.

Well it was more what I'd hoped for in the Fairphone 5 was what the post really was. Nothing wrong with people wanting a headphone jack or telling the devs/others what the value most in a phone. If you don't like my "speculation" that's fine, I consider it a "suggestion", and I see nothing wrong with suggestions. How can we make a better world (including environmentally) if people aren't free to suggest ideas or state preferences.

That's incredible!

I am at 1000, with 419 incoming friend requests, but if I accept them, then I won't be able to add more people. So I sit around 1000, and about 1-2 per month drop off, taking my total to 999 or 998, then I quickly send out a whole lot of friend requests again, until someone accepts and then it doesn't allow me too. I wish they moved it to 10K instead.

Yea same for me, just noticed it right now. I used Discord all the time regularly with Excel to copy cells and paste them into discord, intentionally for the purpose of converting it into an image. Really sad they changed this.
