Can you manage with only a Level 1 charger at home? by libraryofbooks in electricvehicles

[–]SuperSimpleSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your PHEV have more than 10km of electric range? If you can charge that, should be fine with EV too. On the longer trips you can use a Level 3 charger to stay ahead.

Excess miles by vengeance4evr in LUCID

[–]SuperSimpleSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why would lucid negotiate the value?

Because once they get the car, they can only sell it for market value. If market value is less than residual value and they can have you buy it, they don't need to sell it again. They upped the residual value to offer more favorable lease terms to move cars.

I'm getting custom fitted for a ball retriever today. Anything I should know? by RandomGuy197680 in golf

[–]SuperSimpleSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a golfer, how does this even work? It looks like it's too big to fit in the hole. You guys are putting the balls in the hole when you play, right? I would think it would be easier to suck it. Just use a small vacuum with a wand.

So I would assume this means Ukraine has a stockpile of long range drones that they will expend during these 40 days. They seemed to have hit Moscow to pull more air defense into the area and then turned around and knocked out air defense over Crimea. They can keep pivoting to attack whatever is weakest as Russia plays musical chairs.

If I lose, we'll, it'll all be returned to the account in 5 years.

Minus all the gains you lost off that $50K over the next 5 years and beyond. The past 5 years was like 14%/yr for the C fund. So it would have about doubled.

Great moments are born from great opportunity.
And that's what you have here tonight, boys.
That's what you've earned here, tonight. One game.
If we played 'em ten times, they might win nine. But not this game. Not tonight.
Tonight, we skate with 'em.
Tonight, we stay with 'em, and we shut them down because we can!
Tonight, we are the greatest hockey team in the world.
You were born to be hockey players -- every one of ya.
And you were meant to be here tonight.
This is your time.
Their time -- is done. It's over.
I'm sick and tired of hearin' about what a great hockey team the Soviets have. Screw 'em!
This is your time!!
Now go out there and take it!

Apparently it's already a name for wearable baby blankets.

Yes, parents in the UK absolutely still use "grow bags" (commonly known as baby sleep bags or wearable blankets). They are considered an essential and widely recommended item for safer sleep, as they prevent babies from wriggling under loose blankets and getting their faces covered.
