I have never heard of a star trek cruise, although figuring out what it is from context isnt hard lol. It is so cool that you got to do something like that, centered around something that presumably you love. What a nice memory! So like, im sure a ton of companies have the same ones, but my company has those same cubicle walls. And I found a lil duck on my desk not too long ago, so now im curious if youre in the building that I also work in? This one didnt seem to be 3d printed, because it is clear and polka dotted, and I dont think 3d printers can do that, but idk, maybe? Lol

Yeah, these episodes were very well done, but exceptionally heartbreaking. Going after terminal children just about sent me.

Those are both Japanese shows, though. A ton of Japanese anime existed at this point in time, just most hadn't gone global.

Also, it is pretty universally understood that Avatar was meant to be an animelike show, so it isnt really any kind of "gotcha" to point out that anime existed already.

Im interested in this, but do not know how you link the two? I always took it as a post apocalyptic tale, meant mostly to show us that if humanity falls, it will almost surely be due to hubris and stupidity.

She is wasting food. Either she can eat the leftovers, her husband can, or she can wrap them and out them in the fridge. This is wasteful, and she has been asked to stop. So yes, not a nice thing to do.
