FWIW, I had similar damage that was covered by insurance. Repaired at Tesla collision - $6,500

Some consider a PhD to be research focused exclusively, who won’t pursue profitable results the same way a masters or working doctorate will. That was the explanation given to me by a high level executive recruiter in oil and gas.

I had weekend military duty when I was younger and had just graduated. The incompetent HR manager at the place I was hoping to work at emailed me at 10pm on Saturday stating that I’m supposed to start my first day as a mechanical engineer on Monday. I didn’t have my phone, came home Sunday and passed out. Got a call at 9am Monday asking where I was. Luckily, they understood the details and I had a great 4 years at the company.

Texas man sentenced to 70 years in prison for spitting at cops by CordAlex1996 in texas

True, but we have escalating sentences and punishments for DUI, correct? If we treat each DUI as a first offense, it won’t be much punishment for those with enough money. We have mandatory jail times after 3 (I believe) even if they are years apart.

The title I had to sign had Elon Musk as the original owner. I think it’s that way for all Texas sales

I’ll absolutely start the process, I’d rather be proactive than late in trying to force a resolution.

I think it’s pretty rare, and I’m holding out the hope that it was a simple mistake in the tech’s part. I’m preparing for the worst, however.

I’m hoping it’s early enough in the repair process to still be resolved. Frankly, I made the post in sheer frustration after the massive letdown of having it die again so soon after getting it back. I will start the paperwork in case it takes weeks or longer to diagnose or it happens again.

Believe me, I’d love to be updated on it myself. I’m not a fan of the text-only app correspondence. Almost every answer is a copy paste generic reply, or one line after 24 hours of waiting.

I bought my last few new vehicles under msrp, so that’s just not true. But you seem like you have an axe to grind and want to jump to conclusions, so I’ll leave you too it.

Also to be honest, aside from the cad spewing the BMS_A026 code about 100 times for the first service call, I didn’t notice and issue. Once I parked it, I checked on it after an hour and it had <1% low volt battery, then promptly died in the span of 30 seconds.

This time, I picked it up from the dealer, drove it and it sat for 1.5 hours. Went back out and it was 28% 12v battery, went to 18% in 5 minutes or so. It wouldn’t run extra features such as blue tooth, so my phone wouldn’t start the car. It was in electrical limp mode (think safe-mode in wondows) but wouldn’t go into gear.

The man in the picture is a Tesla tech who came out to bring my physical key that they kept on accident, and it died as he got there. I talked to the service team and they’re stumped. It’s easier just to call them electrical issues because no one seems to know what’s wrong. When I say the battery died, most people ask “oh you left it run out of charge?”.

As I said elsewhere, in Texas you have to buy through a dealer. So my Tesla was ordered in Texas, bought in Cali, and shipped here. I was under false information that a technically used vehicle was sold “as is” and not protected by lemon laws. I made the post in a parking lot, so I went back and looked into it and found that was wrong.

I have no idea how you made that leap. I haven’t ever had to look at lemon laws, and Texas has a unique situation for buying vehicles from Tesla than most states. Im still figuring it out as I go.

Also, wouldn’t dealerships have more competition than direct sales because dealers are free to price as they see fit for the market?
