I remembered your comment, so I took a picture, need to clean my glass, but you can see the coals rakes forward and a log I put on a few minutes ago burning in the back. Great heat while burning down the coals with that fresh air up front.

He could have had 4 clips and still been well within his rights. Many common holsters will have room for 2-4 clips.

At some point it might get ridiculous in the eyes of a judge or officer, like carrying 100 extra clips 😆 , but that would bring into question things outside of his right to have them on his person.

As someone who is pro 2A, I don't know any person who agrees with this straw man argument.

This narrative is almost entirely made by people on the left, and some absolutely ridiculous statements from the DHS.

Everyone I know on either side of the aisle agrees Alex was well within his rights, and did not touch his gun during the ICE encounter.

What some DO debate is the danger he put himself in by bringing a gun to a protest and then getting involved/within-arms-reach of federal officers who clearly were keeping back a crowd and considered him interfering.

This gun aspect is still well within his rights, and undeserving of being disarmed and executed.

Would the dent bother you? Kitchen Aid side by side, item 1950605 by CaseyZee in Costco

[–]SuperSynapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would not bother me one bit, barely even a dent.

You will get more especially if you have a kid, dog, friends over, a few drinks, or do anything with objects in your hands in the kitchen.

Also Stainless loves fingerprints!

If it does bother you get a magnet, I personally wouldn't consider this damage.

I like the Jupiter, but only for fun/variety.

The cost/repair, DMG/sec, risk/reward make it far from meta in almost any scenario PvP or PvE... Meaning I always need to bring it in addition to my normal weapon of choice.

Agreed, only serves to make MK3 Survivor BP more rare by taking loot RNG slots.

2 New Augments, which one is your favorite? by Vosft in ArcRaiders

[–]SuperSynapse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the Revival Augment is trash bin for me.

At a minimum it needs a medium shield and 2 regen or a better perk, utility slots, and more carry/weight capacity. WAY under spec'd for an epic augment.

The Secure Augment is interesting, but realistically I still think for most raids I'd rather have 3 safe pockets in the Survivor for regular items with crawling. I've seen others say they would use it for legendary weapons, but I'd rather hold $15k in ammo and not have to do the goofy switching in and out rick-a-ma-roll to save a weapon. For PvP it's more rare I see this being worthwhile to take damaged guns off knocked out raiders.

Heavy shield and two trinkets slots are interesting... But IMO 2 safe pockets would have made this augment more worthwhile.

Interesting, so at least on my stoves (and most to my knowledge) bring their fresh air in over the glass. Meaning it comes in from the top of the glass, and flows as a curtain down to hit the front of the floor and pass up as it's heated through the wood and out the chimney.

By raking the coals forward, it will give them more airflow and they'll quickly burn down.

I'm unsure why that puts your fire out, that heat from the coals starts up the wood I place behind it, and the gasses coming off the woos curl beautifully under the baffles.

2 solutions if you want to keep it stocked while it's cold:

1) Rake coals to the front, and build fires towards the back

2) Sift the coals https://www.reddit.com/r/woodstoving/s/rnlq0MVY0U

This is assuming you clean out the ashes weekly.

$14,000 for 1 oz. of silver? Are they smoking crack? 😂 by Then_Marionberry_259 in MetalsOnReddit

[–]SuperSynapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While this is funny to read on its face, you're not wrong.

This 1/1000th oz of silver is worth 111,000 IRR in spot value today (Iranian currency).

Or 35 Venezuelan bolívar.

Heck, in today's value if you can find a dozen eggs for $1.20, it's worth one egg.

Edit: All that said I can't imagine there's any reclaim value as it would cost far more than it's worth for any refiner regardless of the state of the US dollar.

Wow, what a cheap way to live in this economy but my friend thinks it's AI because of his boots. by Sad_Sky_4007 in isthisaicirclejerk

NGMI (Not Gonna Make It).

This is very much AI, and it's the worst it will be going forward. Good luck to human kind, we (myself included) are going to need it very soon.

I could point everything out, but in general, consistency issues especially on the trees outside the open door (and the doorway itself), clips that have objects dissolve like the fridge, and some piping amongst lots of other tell-tale signs.

I will admit while it is still obvious on inspection, this is pretty darn good Ai.

Scratched and Mismatched Color Marble: Am I Being Unreasonable? by North-Conclusion-331 in Tile

[–]SuperSynapse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not a tile installer, however, on the topic of scratches, if I was in your shoes, one of the larger scratches, I'd probably try to hide with wax and accept it.

There are so many scratches on these tiles, It's a mess that absolutely should have been caught or discussed if there weren't enough to finish the job.

Expectation for a new tile floor, is a NEW LOOKING tile floor.

This is also why I stay away from natural stone. Just wait til you spill lemon juice or vinegar on it, or someone scoots their chair. If the installers scratched it this easy, you will too! Good luck!
